I love you Huby but back up your words now. Have a good season and pot more points with a new coach

Then prove it next season Huby

As a potential new hire, I interview the shit out of interviewer. Just to get the good, bad and ugly before I commit. But I guess money talks.

Well we’re stuck with that Pylon for the next 8 years.. Might as well do everything we can to make sure he enjoys his early retirement.

Huberdeau played pretty well in the second half of the season. He just needs to be that x-factor now

Huberdeau was just under a point per game when he was actually on the LW, and not playing with Lucic. This is while adjusting to a new system.
He’s going to bounce back to 90 points. I’m confident in it.

Yes, we kinda had that feeling. But I still like how he went about his exit interviews earlier where he was saying he’d really try and work things out with Darryl. That showed alot of maturity, because he very well could’ve blamed the coach/players/systems and have made excuses, but chose to take the high road.
Can’t say the same for Nazem. Dude let me down.

It is funny that Huberdeau gave this interview to Bob Hartley of all people.

1) Feels like we closed some sort of loop.
2) It’s kind of like complaining to a pot about the colour of the kettle. (Les deux choses sont noires).

Seems Calgary needs to hire a match-maker rather than a GM.

If Huberdeau doesn’t get back to big points this team is not going to recover from his contract. Nor the Kadri contract.
