Oilers had the Knights number this season.. and Vegas didnt have the defensive stats that LA had in holder Oilers off the score sheet. Oilers will not have issues putting goals on the sheet.. the thing we need to do is be as defensively strong as we were closing out the season.
The real question is will the NHL decide to stop calling penalties in favor of the Oilers. I have seen zero consistency in the ways refs are calling games this playoffs, so its anybody's guess.
The task for the VGK will be in cutting down the number of quality SOG by the Oilers top 6. And the way to do that is to keep play at 5 on 5. If they can manage to stay out of the box, and their very proficient shot-blocking defensemen can frustrate the Oilers scoring machine, the VGK will be moving on to round 3.
1) Idc how good a PP is, 56% is the PK not doing their job. The kings were scared when they had to put out a PK. The knights are the least penalized team in the NHL. (They’ll need it since knight PP is atrocious)
2) Oiler fans are hyped, but I don’t see any of them mentioning the lack of defense on both sides in that kings series. Vegas will take advantage of that. Jets had better D , and a better goaltender. VGK outed them in 5.

Knights GA 229 Kings GA 257 I'm not convinced LA is better defensively
The jets are tougher than Oilers though , and LA wore the oilers down , think Vegas in 5
Oilers – Hurricanes in the finals called it.
Vegas in 6
Oilers in 3
