Great interview, loved Baby Doll in the 80s
I would like to hear her version of what happened one night at the Hampton Coliseum in Virginia. A drunken sailor grabbed her as she and Tully were walking by. He lunged at her and grabbed her and she coldcocked him so hard that it knocked him out.

When i lived in flushing queens ny, predominantly asian, for a short while i had to take the seven train into manhattan. In the hot summer on the first part of the trip it stank of garlic. Asians ate so much garlic, theyd sweat it out and it stank. Body garlic isnt the same smell as frying garlic. After a few stops the train would go through corona. Corona was predominantly spanish. Then the smell of sweated out beer would compete with the garlic and it was horrible. Sometimes id ride between the trains if it got very bad. Abdullah probablt are some spice repeatedly to make his blood smell bad. When people eat curry as a regular part of their diet, theyd smell like curry
