Noel Acciari On Being Traded To Toronto, Playing Against Jack Eichel & More | 32 Thoughts

In February, Noel Acciari was traded to the Toronto Maple Leafs along with Ryan O’Reilly. He sits down with Elliotte Friedman to talk about his love of the game from a young age, his mother Edna driving him to games, playing against Jack Eichel in college, when he got his break in the NHL, his time in Boston and Florida, a wedding he attended with Keith Yandle and what impresses him most about the Maple Leafs.

  1. A warrior on the ice and a guy you want to battle with when the game gets tough. Throws huge hits and doesn't backdown from anything. Every team needs a guy like him

  2. A throwback player. Incredible amount of character and grit. Early 2000s vibes. Him O’Riely, Schenn, McCabe, ZAR, Lafferty, Gio.. so much grit, love this group

  3. Not to brag but i was a pretty good player and the guys I knew who were good, the "push" always came from the mom…. dad's (if they showed up lol) were always the passive ones
