[Boston Pizza] The Fanalytics have confirmed what all Toronto fans already feel: it’s not right to have “Boston” in our name while Toronto looks to make history. So effective immediately, you may refer to our Toronto locations as AUSTON PIZZA.

Like anyone gives a shit about Boston Pizza

  2. VanAgain

Woulda been a better marketing ploy if the Bruins had won.

  3. If I wanted to eat food that would make me sick I would just cook it myself.

Except that Bandera Bread, that’s pretty alright.

Maybe we’d care if your beers weren’t $12 bucks

No different than when Tim Hortons dropped the name from their Boston Cream donut when the Canucks and Bruins were in the finals

Do people still go to Boston Pizza? Terrible place

  7. matti-niall

Lol shit franchise that microwaves all its food.

Imagine posting this as an ad intentionally.

  8. Boston Pizza legitimately sucks in my opinion, except for the flagship location at Front and John. At your typical suburban location, the atmosphere is dated, the TVs are often small and up on a wall in a corner, the majority of menu items are meh, and the pizzas are insanely expensive.

It was never right to have “Boston” in the name of a pizza shop.

Hello Ad that assumed the Bruins would be winning but instead we get the cats so lets still throw this ad out and hope people dont notice

BP food stinks, glad they’re feeling The Passion though.

  12. Does that mean we have to refer to him as Boston Matthews?

Die hard Bruins fan, officially rooting for Toronto, hard. Fuck them up please.

  14. I’ll take one XL spicy Mexican, extra sauce.

Gimmicky ads, yes. Mediocre food, yes. But God, WE’RE EATING AUSTON’S TONIGHT!

Shame that Boston pizza occupies one of the best restaurant locations in muskoka. Won’t go back unless they bring back the rustic Italian.

I guess it’s an unpopular opinion now, but I have a fondness for Boston Pizza. I’m not going to say their food is amazing, but it’s decent and there are worse options out there for chain sports bars.

I’m sure it’s the suburban kid in me, but I spent plenty of Friday nights at BP with the boys after we finished our shift on the grounds crew at the golf course. Regular high school, early college stuff. I’ll defend BP. They fill a sports bar gap in communities that don’t often have a ton of independent options that aren’t skeezy as fuck.
