Ownership said the new gm would make a decision on sully
Alright, now lets get DOC, POehling, and smith signed!!!
I wish hits to the head were as black and white as high sticking. Direct and initial contact to the head should be a head shot. Bottom line. Troubas shoulder from every angle hit timo right in the face/nose. The league and DOPS (dopes) continue to show their incompetence.
I think as much as FSG likes Sullivan they'll like their new GM/Hockey President more.
I don't think you can automatically assume Sullivan's job is safe. Why would we paraphrase something they DIDNT say like "he's going to be the head coach"
Versus just saying what they ACTUALLY said which was "it's going to be up to the new GM"
his job isn't assured.
There was some bad blood between the Rangers and Timo over the whole series so he was targeted specifically not just because his head was down. But I have a lot of respect for Timo because in the handshake line he gives Trouba a hug. He's a better human than me.
Sully gets a short leash imo. If they start the season out looking like how they finished the season he and his staff need to be out. I think that giving him another whole season to figure it out only hurts the cores chances at another cup. I do believe that he is still here based on what he has done and not on what he is doing.
That being said FSG likes him so he will probably be here until the team actual sinks far bellow playoff level.
He was very stubborn this year
