The Devils crushed the Rangers in Game 7 to win the back-and-forth series and booked a date with the Hurricanes in the second round. TSN Hockey analyst Martin Biron joins Jay Onrait to break down how New Jersey was able to win the series, whether Jacob Trouba’s huge hit on Timo Meier was dirty or clean, and what went wrong for the Rangers.

Somebody give the NJD GM his flowers. Just in the last 3 years he's transformed their defense. Has added Hamilton, Marino, Graves, Bahl, Siegenthaler & has Luke Hughes & Simon Nemec coming. Masterful work.
Ken Dryden 2.0?
Those glove saves
The Rangers dont have a terrific team….They have a collection of terrific players.
But he literally didnt have his head down and the replay shows he never had his head down.. not saying its a penalty or not but these "analysts" saying he had his head down are not doing thier job because Meier had his head up the whole way including in the replay they show on this channel
In this final game, Shesterkin made huge game saving saves… however, Akira made them all.
You can stack a team all you want, however, chemistry and goaltending win Cups. So, I'm picking Edmonton. And I'm barely a fan.
Devils win the Cup. Oilers a close second
Well said Biron
Goaltending wins cups and bad goaltending loses them
Wow the first round games really cleared the feild. It sounds like un underdog cup.
How is head unavoidable when he is charging him when his heads down shut up about being surprised rangers are out devils are better rangers lineup isn’t that good
Oh please how can you compare Trouba to Stevens, he had zero goals zero assists all series, despite being the Captain. Scott Stevens is in the Hall of Fame and is way more than the greatest all time NHL checker
If Bahl threw that hit on Panarin, Devils would of got a match penalty.
