  1. Terrified about playing the devils. I was hoping for the rangers just cause how bad they looked all post season.

  2. it could be the best gameplay of the playoffs, very likely is, since both play fast and tight

  3. Tough to call; Canes play a style that often gives the Devils trouble, but Jersey's fully capable of beating them, especially with Carolina's injuries. If Schmid's emergence is totally legit it does tip things in the Devils' favor, as it'd give them a pretty big advantage in net…yeah, Sorokin gave the Islanders the ultimate advantage there, but the Devils' skaters are much stronger overall than New York's. Both teams are possession beasts who can skate like crazy but also minimize chances against; feels like there could easily some swings between very high and very low scoring games.
But hey, I'm a Devils fan, so gimme Jersey in 6.

  4. How about doing a video on how the Carolina Hurricanes have effectively altered the NHL over the last 5 years. They have influenced more than half of the teams in the league with former players, former players turned coaches or GMs, forcing changes in styles of play and off season conditioning. You might be surprised at what you find

  5. BTW…how funny is it that there wont be lightning or bruins involved for the rest of the playoffs….lol

  6. 2 fast teams with skilled players. It’ll be nice to watch “clean” hockey after the cheap crap we saw in the first round from Isles and Rangers and Bruins.
Canes are at a scoring disadvantage without Svech and Turbo. Freddie will have to stand on his head if these are low scoring games.
Devils closed season on the upswing while Canes were weaker. But that was then and here we are.
I expect great end to end excitement.
    Canes in 6.

  7. Perfect analysis. This is a good matchup and im ready for it. LGD

  8. Devils will take it in 5, Carolina looked exhausted in their Game 6

  9. I feel like whoever makes it out of this series goes to win the cup

  10. I’m picking my Canes to finish this in 7, but I could really see it going either way. The high-paced strike on the break Devils versus the grit and grind forechecking Canes should be a very interesting stylistic matchup.

  11. Like most others, I think this should be a very tight series as both teams are remarkably similar. Looking at the regular season, there was only one point separating the two teams, New Jersey was slightly better offensively and slightly worse defensively as compared to Carolina. If it wasn't for the injuries to the Hurricanes' major offensive threats such as Svechnikov, I would leaning towards them. I have to go with the Devils in this series.

    NJ Devils in SEVEN games.

  12. This is going to be like the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Tampa Bay Lightning. Two teams with matching color schemes looking like it’s a scrimmage.

  13. Two teams that will be low scoring. I think the Devils offense will be slightly better than an injured Carolina team. Devils in 6.

  14. Can't say enough about Schmid.

Since his first career playoff start in game three, Hischier had been quite the Bratt to rangers shooters and their fans; and he was an absolute Bastian of confidence and inspiration for the team, especially at that Meier known as Madison Square Garden. And he'll stay strong through round two, finishing the 'Canes off and sending their playoff dreams to their Graves. It'd be great if he takes us all the way through these playoffs; but either way, he is definitely going to be here for the long Haula

  15. Devils I gotta take in 6 over Carolina as I had Islanders winning over them. Then New Jersey can get REvenge over Toronto for that sham game breaking their streak. Funny The Hockey Guy who is Original Six shill continues to push lie about Rangers having better chances despite Igor the scrub giving up 3 goals with 20 saves. Schmid had 31 saves with Rangers getting one bogus power play after another. GEts away with High STick in front of all four officials to head of Devils player with no call. Only to give Rangers a weak tripping one that would give them a Power Play for a Minute. REfs tried to rig that game for NYR just like Bruins had it handed to them on Florida on that diving high stick call. Schmid is Homeless Better than Igor Period haha.
