Only in Canada can you call someone "Goal Caufield" when they have 5 goals in 34 games.
He was never there to begin with
The problem was that Ducharme wasn’t playing him at all for some reason. He had a slow start to the year so instead of trying to encourage him Ducharme pretty much benched him for half the season. Now St.Louis in and he has started playing him a lot more. And since then he’s been a goal per game.
The one thing I've learned about betting on hockey. Never bet for or against the Toronto Maple Leafs. They will screw you every time! Go Caufield!

Caufield is definitely back. St. Louis has had a very similar career. I wasn’t sure if Caufield was back when he had 2 goals in 3 games, but now it’s basically confirmed. 4 goals in 4 games! Wow. Ducharme didn’t believe in Caufield once Ducharme saw how bad Caufield was in the first 10 games. I hope St. Louis will stay the Habs Head Coach next year. Then Caufield’s future is going to be CRAZY🔥

Before Caufield started scoring, I still had hope in Cole for 2021-2022, but in the AHL. I didn’t think he could turn it up. St-Louis is an inspiration to him and is letting him play his game with more ice time than before.
I would never bet against a team that lost 10 straight in the NHL. Even the worst team in the league is bound to revert to the mean, and the oddsmakers generally won't give you a good payout if you do win your bet anyways. Your friends messed up.
