Leafs come out blazing passes at each other like they are rockstars against the lowly panthers. 4 mins of 5 on 4 and not a shot on net.
Panthers lay into the body a few times and the Leafs tuck tail and run. Couldnt make a pass for the entire rest of the game.

What teams did not want is for Florida to "figure it out" as a team. Been watching this team for 20+ years and this forecheck is that playoff forecheck we've been missing. Add to that girt and hard work, not giving up, and Bob living up to his potential, and we went from an 8 seed barely making it team, to very very dangerous. I got faith, but I've been burned too much ๐คฃ keep it going. Leafs are gonna turn it up next game but man…I'm honestly just enjoying this ride.

Florida's a team to be reckoned with. On the other hand, this was not the Leafs "A" game tonight. Likely some emotional exhaustion after the Tampa series. I'm looking for a stronger showing in game two. Knies looked good again, other than the unlucky own goal deflection.
