    As a Flyers fan, I still worry that the cap hit could bite us in a few years, but the two way game and puck protection he brings is just awesome

    Kevin Hayes might be legitimately the best PKer in the league. The amount of time he could just eat by skating the puck and being patient was amazing. I really find it funny when people said he should get 6.5 and then he gets 7 and suddenly people lose their mind at a 500K overpay which is so little to the overall cap.

    Ive never seen a new flyer UFA signing go from so hated to so beloved so quickly. That contract was deeply hated at the time, but haysey wasted no time winning philly over.

    You should make a top 25 favourite players list this offseason… I know it would be a hard one to make but I would be interested in hearing your opinion. Granted, I think I have a good idea on a handful of guys on there but still

    Honestly, he was really noticeable during round 1 vs. The Habs. Some games he looked like a monster and took some shifts over. Had me pretty nervous has a Habs fan watching.

    I remember on the Hawks banner raising night (start to the 15/16 season), the camera went on Hayes face and ohh did that ever feel good. Khama, he couldā€™ve been a 2 time Stanley cup champion by now.

    You are correct that Philadelphia doesnā€™t regret that contract, BUT they will. Paying a guy whoā€™s never hit 50 points 7 million plus is a recipe for disaster. Look at Coots, heā€™s much, much, much better than Hayes, and heā€™s underpaid, and their on the same team!

    If LA is the 4th largest " Canadian city " move the Kings to Canada for a year. They could even make stops… 10 games in Hamilton… 10 games in Halifax… 10 games in Quebec City. LA may not go for it unless we take back Bieber or Carrey but there always a price to pay.
