  1. Panarin needs to be boo’d opening night next season i have no love for him I don’t think I can root for this team overpaying underperforming superstars is ridiculous I might become a Seattle fan

  2. Imagine if you got a first overall pick and that player became a superstar? The Devs got a superstar and we got a super "dud". I like Laffy, trade him while is number 1 tag can still fetch something. I don't see him going to that next level with us.

  3. What went wrong? everything!!! They have been inconsistent all season. No urgency, playing out of position, and too many turnovers. Wher has Panarin been? Its what you do after the bell that matters. Prepare and work at your weaknesses. Igor and Lindgren played their hearts out every game. Thats it.

  4. Ranger fans' expectations for this team were way, way too high, because the team is simply not that good. They finished 9th league-wide in the regular season – that's essentially middle of the pack. They consistently failed to show up for games and blew big leads throughout the regular season. And last year's playoff run almost certainly wouldn't have happened if Crosby hadn't left game 5 with an injury. There was zero reason to expect them to get past the Devils in his series.

  5. Hey Gil thought the Devs breakouts were the best of every series. That short quick passing and the support from their forwards.

  6. There is no one player to blame. Every single player, besides Igor, needed to up their physicality and urgency to win, and they just didn't. Everything else comes after physicality and hard work.
It's completely unacceptable for that kind of shitty effort. No hitting, no scrums, no chirping, no edge to their game. They deserved to lose.
35 years watching this team and I've never seen a less-inspired playoff performance, period.

  7. Absolutely brutal loss. It's one thing to go out fighting, but it felt like this team laid down and died after losing game 3. I have no idea how Igor kept his sanity and level of play with such a bad showing in front of him. Inconsistency all year was crippling. No idea how to start fixing it…

  8. I reckon we'll see a new coach, no Kane, Tarasenko, Mikkola and whatever trades Drury can maneuver

  9. You say "outworked", l say "outcoached". After Devil losses, Ruff made strategic and tactical changes to counteract what the Rangers had done. GG, OTOH, aside from some line juggling, did nothing in the way of strategic and tactical changes to impede the Devil's game plan following Ranger demolishings. Did he even have a game plan? I couldn't see one.

  10. Blow up this iteration of the team
It's not in the DNA to have thar killer instinct.
Last year was a different team with a bit of luck. Not a complete fluke
But this team. No they don't have it
    Start over

  11. As a devils fan im shocked with the little fight back the rangers had. Game 7 against a rival u expect a 2-1 O.T win. Not a 4-0 beatdown 😂

  12. Panarin and Kane were the biggest goose eggs of the series… but honestly after game 2 fox, kreider, Mika, laffy, and Miller ALL underperformed by a long shot. We had tons of inexcusable giveaways and they really hung Igor out to dry. I love the Rangers, but man with all this talent and experience it’s insane how poorly we ended up playing.

  13. This Rangers team is lazy! I seen it last season and much of this season. We lose games many times because too many players will take the night off. Teams that win cups, play harder. As a Ranger fan since 79, I only seen the one cup team in NYC. That team in the 93-94 season, with Keenan behind the bench never took nights off without consequences. The games we lost in the playoffs were hard fought battles. This 23 team, looses ugly and low effort outputs…. The Rangers in the 90ties only had the 1 cup, and should have had 2 or 3 in that decade. Why? A tough coach made the difference. We had Keenan for 1 year and won a cup. Remember Leetch being benched twice during that playoff run? I do and he went on to win a Conn Smythe.

Gallant is a players coach, its time to find a coach willing to bench lazy star players, like Panarin. Panarin should be traded…

Rangers did not go down with a fight, they were too lazy to make a fight of this in a game 7 or in game 4…..

Congrats to the Devils, they fought hard and deserved this series win…..

  14. Time to blow it up boys that was the type of loss that sets a franchise back a few years so trade em all fox panarin Mika all of the even the kids hood bye

  15. Expectations were high this year after last year’s run. It was close but that gets you nowhere. Drury needs to re evaluate this team and make changes. Igor and Krieder are the only players who actually did anything. Time to trade some of the dud players.

  16. As a Devils fan, I too was surprised to see such little fight in the Rangers – a team I have great respect for. I am beyond thrilled with the result with the young guys getting their first taste of playoff success. Hats off to Shesterkin. He played his ass off. Kreider's stats are over-rated. I thought it was a workmanlike series and but for Igor this could have been a pretty lopsided affair.

  17. Kreider was AWFUL this past game, I'd swear that it looks like he played bad on purpose to throw the game, He looked god-aweful SLOW, WEAK, SOFT, LAZY, & DIS-INTERESTED. I just don't understand how you can make it so obvious to play BAD in Game 7 of the playoffs. And the same thing with Fox & Panarin. These 3 were by far the worst. But why?… And in Game 7?
