There was a post on r/hockey with a negative Daryl Sutter review so I downloaded the app (called The Sports Aux) and found this. I know it’s only one review but I was still surprised to see something negative about him.
I still don’t believe that NHL players are going on this app and verifying themselves to talk shit about their coaches, it makes no sense

I wonder what ‘arrogant’ would mean here. The goalie coach is imparting their knowledge/insight/wisdom to the goalie. Does the goalie believe they are above this? What’s the word for that?
I suppose they could be confusing arrogance for condescension (or something)? Or, possibly it’s a peer/colleague? Either way, seems odd.

Sounds like a goalie that couldn’t take his game to the next level. Ian clark has coached multiple elite goaltenders so if he was my coach and arrogant I would say that he earned the right to be.

that’s Halak or Holtby.

Do we know that Ian Clark only works with the Canucks? I know it’s his main gig, but surely he’s not working with our 4 goalies 40+ hours a week, all year long?
I wonder if he consults on the side with say… WHL or BCHL goalies from the lower mainland, or even just private lessons with younger kids who can afford it.
Wouldn’t shock me if a spoiled rich kid (or their parent) wrote that after their son just wasn’t good enough to be a goalie and they blamed it on Clark.
richard-king
He was still with CBJ then, so unlikely to be a Canuck…
