  1. Whiner Roussel, Don't Let people make you Down Clay. They are probably Jealous of you Guys have more viewers ,Then They .I like your view and Legorock 99 keep up your energy High , Don't let Stupid people get in your way,YOU should Block them . Harmonic was a good signed.no playoffs this year.

  2. I agree with Roussel people saying it’s an excuse but the leafs can use it for an excuse but no one else well that’s wrong. Also I fine with Hamonic staying he’s been playing better since he’s been back

  3. Hamonic has been a good pick up. He would be a solid player to keep around as the rookie D core develops.

  4. I have said it for years that whoever makes the schedule for the Canucks must have it out for them. I had thought with the covid they would make their schedule easier. They travel more, practice less. And have less rest time and have more back to backs. And their schedule does not get easier down the stretch. I do not see them getting close unless Demko plays all the games. I like Hamonic and would like the club to resign him. Also with the covid protocol they could not practice before the season. Have to play that hard luck song for the Canucks.

  5. Montreal plays 4 games per week 5 times before the end of the season. I think the Canucks only have to do that once or twice. So it’s kind of balancing out a bit.

  6. I'd be curious to see some stats/analysis on the correlation between # of days off between games and winning % in the NHL

  7. Clay, I would like to hear a blog about Benning not talking to agents. For example Toffoli and now a few others coming out. Is this normal, is Benning a poor gm, or is there something else going on.

  8. One thing that really hurt us. Canucks did not get a 10 day break when Miller and Benn were out due to covid. In FACT! We had to play without those players!!!
Now on the habs side … I don't know what changed in the covid protocol since January, but the habs get to rest injured players and come out fresh, instead of playing without the covid related players and without toffoli.
    This really frustrates me.
What changed about covid ? Did the habs org embellish something to trigger a full halt instead of keep playing ? What do you guys think ?

  9. Awesome brother!! Great coverage. Praying for a Canadiens tank. Glad hamonic is staying.

  10. I really hope they protect Harmonic, Juolevi and possibly Myers. Sign Edler after the expansion draft. Sign Benn so they have a D man with enough games played to be selected, or leave Myers unprotected, if they want to unload that salary. I think Juolevi and Harmonic have been the best surprises this year.

  11. Roussel was right, the schedule hurt the Canucks from the get go. It will even out, and we have seen when teams get a long run of a lot a games they tend to go on losing streaks. The disadvantage for the Canucks is they didn't have a chance to establish a base line before they went on a long run of games. If they don't make the playoffs, I think it is fair to point to the schedule and put some of the blame there. It is going to be interesting to see Montreal's record during the last part of the season.

  12. 1. I agree with Roussell. It's something I've been saying myself since January. The players are not really allowed to say it, but it's true.

    2. Hamonic is our Tanev replacement in many ways, and I think it's great that we got him for a bargain, and I'm quite happy if we keep him.

  13. The big thing is that the Canucks had to do it at the beginning of the season when we didn't have a proper training camp then no days to practice. Montreal having more games at the end of the season is no big deal they are already playing well together as a team.

  14. One thing that also made me mad was the fact that at the begging of the season JT Miller and Jordie Ben had been exposed to covid. They couldn’t play but the team still had to play. I’m Montreal even before the results came they had their games postponed. We got hurt for sure by not having Miller in the lineup at the start of the season

  15. I understand the nuks had a busy schedule but Edmonton was right there behind them, if they didn’t have the 3 games postponed with the habs they would have been the busiest team in the league with 39 games played to the nuks 37, so not buying Roussel comments that the schedule has been unfair when other teams in the division have had just as or busier schedules then the nuks.
