Love the whole age excuse bs with Bertuzzi that keeps being brought up despite the fact he’s like a yr older than dylan. Only reason not to bring him back is if he wants a 7 year term. I’d have 0 problem if we paid a bit more if the term was 4 years. Despite Bert’s great playoffs I still find it hard to see a team giving him 7 years with his history of injuries unless he was willing to take a lower cap hit.
That being said I don’t think he returns. Too many young prospects coming up and potentially 4 top 20 picks next 2 drafts. I don’t even think larkin will be here for years 6-8. We find that #1c soon(for fucks sake let us win bedard) and as soon as he’s eligible to be dealt I’d say his times up
Let’s go get Conner for 3 years which we won’t win anything and give up all the assets needed to do so 😂😂
