I have a feeling the new ownership will not keep Dorion as GM, or will keep him for another year. But my gut feeling he is gone. But I would rather have the whole coaching staff gone, I say go for Jon Cooper. We need an established winning playoff coach. Maybe also bring Jacques Martin as an assistant.
Problem when players says loving a head coach is the comfort zone. They are too comfortable with DJ and that is maybe why they are not able to reach the next level. A new voice and new way is needed from an experience winning playoff coach. Jon Cooper is my first choice, if the Bolts let him go. Claude Julien is great choice also. But ask yourself a question, how many head coach from Ottawa that went on winning the cup as a head coach. Some won as assistants, still not as head coach.
They need a number 1 proven goaltender. Hart is number 1 choice. But they really need a true number 1 goaltender. With terms please, no more rentals or experiments. I also think we need a rugged damn. We are missing that big time.
