After going down 3 goals, the New York Rangers stormed back and burned the midnight Oil in Edmonton, beating the Oilers in a shootout. Chris Kreider would score two goals (SHG and PPG), Alexis Lafreniere and Mika Zibanejad would push to tie the game in the third and Kaapo Kakko, along with Lafreniere, scoring in the shootout, the latter netting the game winner to seal the deal!
