  1. Done with Rob Thompson really. Just isn't getting it done, bad lineups, bad pitching decisions, players showing poor fundamentals. He's Giardi 2.0 just got lucky last year.

  2. Phillies won't even get into Playoffs – what a disappointment

  3. Such a Jekyll & Hyde team. So tired of the 'Nola just didn't have it today' excuse. FUNDAMENTALS !!!

  4. Thomson is a huge problem. I get team isn't good honestly either. Besides a few guys they stink. I dunno just make playoffs. They have zero RH power and power in general. TT has been fking putrid

  5. rob thompson doesn't hold players accountable. they make mistake after mistake and he won't call them on it . phillies are finished!

  6. This team is so so disappointing. What a rocky start to May. My goodness. It’s hard to even talk about having hope for these guys.. buuuut at least Bryce Harper is looking amazing.

  7. Sosa's failure to catch that grounder opened the floodgates. Dodgers played over their heads in this series. And when that happens, bad things happen to the other team.😊

  8. This was a real disturbing series by the Phillies. Not only did they get swept they get obliterated, and seemed like they didn't even deserve to be on the same field with the Dodgers. Nola showed once again why hes NOT an ace, and on a different note the Sixers stunk it up tonight too 😵‍💫.

  9. They don't look even remotely like a team that just won the NL pennant 5 months ago. I'm really starting to fear it was just a big fluke.

  10. This is a bad team. Their pitching fails them when needed, their fielding fails them when needed. And while the last two games they couldn’t hit, now they’re not even consistent within a game. They can hit and score, then suddenly they forget how to.

And so far this season, I haven’t seen anything from Rob to make me believe he isn’t anything but a bench coach.

  11. Can we get Bohm back at third, Schwarber potentially at first, and Sosa in left? Is this a possibility? Also, Schwarber doesn’t deserve a free pass anymore. Needs to produce more than a hr or nothing.

  12. Phillies need a real ace they are quick to pay for offensive bats but always get washed up pitchers out of their prime. Thompson is awful, Turner is a huge disappointment but can’t wait for them to win 3 games in a row and everyone act like they are a good team. Trade for a real ace and stop the sloppy play

  13. Dodgers called Craig Kimbrel Craig Crumble because he blew so many leads. Why the Phillies would sign a guy who the Dodgers did not include on their Playoffs roster Last Season is beyond me. The guy doesn't have it anymore… Get rid of him…

  14. The phillies are GARBAGE and the fact of the matter is they got extremely lucky last year, they should have never ended up in the world series lats season but we all drank the Kool aid, I know I did but the team socks, they got no balls, they like to get punched in the face…..

  15. Phillies just need a big hug and for someone to tell them everything is going to be Ok.

  16. I don't like the vibe around the manager lately. Sometimes a great interim manager is different as the official manager. Who in their right mind puts Schwarber back in lead off with the way Stott has performed there, and with a whole multitude of other options that make more sense? Don't reinvent the wheel. There's at least 3 other way more prototypical lead off hitters in that lineup who can actually be on base for when Schwarber does in fact hit the ball. Having a player like Stott in the 5 hole while Schwarber hits 1st is just plain backwards, and it's not like a shake up was in order for the leadoff spot to begin with. Rob just can't help himself I guess. He needs to feel the heat on him for this decision until he comes to his senses.

There's also nothing more soul crushing than hearing "that's baseball" after a series like that. No it's not, Rob. You guys they need to be better. That wasn't acceptable. Losing is one thing, listlessness and sloppiness is another. Such a "ho hum" attitude after that series won't cut it. I know it's a very long season, but his attitude reflects the play on the field, and it's not a championship caliber attitude. The sky isn't falling but it will continue to until they wake the hell up. "We're resilient. We got a run back in the 9th after coughing up an early 5-0 lead from the 3rd inning on." Then he has the audacity to say "I thought Nola was good." Give me a break. I'm having Kapler/Girardi flashbacks.

  17. Listen, this is not difficult to figure out.
There is no way when you are ptotecting a lead late with bases loaded that a grand slam walk off homer happens.
The baseball should be nowhere near an area where it can be hit out of the park.
    A disgraceful loss,bloody awful.
