  1. I’m fine with Ullmark being traded and Swayman being our 1. Also Lindholm needs to go and I honestly wouldn’t mind finding a trade for Mcavoy. Need to seriously retool this defense for playoff hockey style of play. I don’t care if we sneak in as a 7/8 seed for the next 5 years because of it. The return we would get for those 3 players would be massive and let another team win some extra regular season games with these guys who can only play non urgency hockey.

  2. Bruins were constantly dumping and running and then going for the one timer! It got old!! Almost no shots from the point even when there was more than enough time, nope gotta pass back to the circle for that one timer. Good shots from the point can be so productive and bring all kinds of rebounds! Remember Bourque,Park,Orr ?
It really started pissing me off! It's like they where not allowed to take the good old slapshot!

  3. I say it everywhere. The series was lost in game 5. Ullmark was clearly hurt, most likely a pulled muscle in his lower back. It isn't debilitating but it's a nagging pain. You'll feel fine but one move the wrong way and you aggravate it again, a quick stab of pain, freezes you for a split second. You could clearly see him wincing when they had a close up on him after a save. Game 5 was the time to give Swayman a start.

Second, you have a team on the ropes, you need to put them away. You let them off the hook and all of a sudden they are going home full of confidence for game 6. In such an important game, why the hell would you mess with the lines that won you 65 games during the year? That was ridiculous. Split up the top line, put them each on a separate line then wonder how come your team got off to a slow start. Montgomery messed up big time. I really question his lineup decisions in the playoffs.

I've said this before, Pasta's contract is an anchor around the team's neck and will hurt the team in the long run. That's 25% of you salary cap is tied up in Pasta and Mac.

  4. I think the thing this is missing, that nobody is talking about, is that the turnovers had been a problem all season and got progressively worse as a team as the season wore on, it was like Pasta caught the yips and spread it to everyone else. It bled into our power play decline, it lead to lower scoring numbers at home and it killed our ability to stay on the cycle. All of this was covered up by the play of our goalies. It should have been addressed by the coaching staff and never was.

  5. We will be competitive next year. Let Orlov and Clifton go. Get rid of Forbert, Uhlmark and get rid of the complete fourth line. Sign Bertuzzi and bring up lauco, Greer and Wagner and the rest of the holes patch up with the farm players. We will still be a playoff team.

  6. Tyler Bertuzzi signed a 2 year / $9,500,000 contract with the Detroit Red Wings, including $9,500,000 guaranteed, and an annual average salary of $4,750,000.

i think your reading his contract from what Boston took on at the end, i think he will want closer to 6 million

  7. Brian said it best, WHERE WAS GARNETT HATHAWAY IN THIS SERIES! i was wondering the same thing, i wasn't expecting 10 points in the series but would of been nice to chip in a few also didn't see his crazy forechecking like we did in capitals, seemed he was a step behind most the series, our 4th line was solid all year, and not sure how many goals/points they got in the series but it was very little

  8. Game 56 killed them. Ullmark turnover in G5 and Clifton in G6 and Montgomery not pulling Ullmark in G6.

  9. trade baits in rank
    #1 Derek forbort- 3 million
#2 MATT GRZELCYK- 3,687,500 million- since he is in and out of the line up
#3 Linus Ullmark 5 million- Great goalie, but re sign swayman-
#4 Taylor hall 6 millon- Can be good but too inconsistent
#5 brandon Carlo 4,100,000.million- maybe get the most in return for him
#6 hampus lindholm- playoffs was so bad i just tossed him in because i am mad lol

  10. How is Bergeron going to play at an NHL level with a herniated disk without spinal fusion surgery or Eichel surgery?

Anyone name a 38 year old elite hockey player do well
playing through a herniated disk injury without surgery?
