What a clown take. That AFC championship Brady was on his ass the entire game getting beaten left and right because that defense was out of its mind that entire year and the only reason why Peyton Manning won a super bowl. And mind you, for that AFC championship, it really was Edelman and Gronk for Brady. They did not have any talent to get down feel at all. He didn't throw downfield a lot because there was nobody to get downfield.

Bill didn't get these questions about Brady because Brady left no question to be asked. It's not like Belichick is coming out, unprompted, saying Mac needs to prove himself. He's being asked the question and the question is being asked because Mac's play leaves questions to be asked.

Zappe directed an old style NE Offense and that's why he succeeded. Mac's failure was about the zone style offense that wasn't working. They didn't even trust Zappe with that offense. The Packers were caught flat footed when all the blocking schemes changed mid-game, and they had not prepared for Zappe. This year Mac gets to go back to what works with competent coaching. Hello??
