Detroit was a pretty bad team for several years then they got Yzerman Lidstrom Datsyuk so yeah the ELITE players really make a difference turning your team from doorrmat to contender.
So if I had to predict a team likely Anaheim an awful team that Bedard would NOT be able to turn them around they need a LOT more.San jose is another team IDK they are DONE they are in more need than the Habs so they are 5 years away and will be bottom dwellers for the next 4-5 years so they are going to get a lot of good picks over the next 5 years.
Bedard Coutiere Konecny that would be a really good line imo BETTER than Bedard Nick and Cole.
no question about it ,what team has been awful the longest ,the FLYERS, when is the last time the flyers won the cup ,1975 was a long time ago,fans are not showing up ,the flyers are the team that needs bedard
As much as some teams need him more, the Canadiens would definitely be the best fit for him with a potential young around him !

The Hawks are complete garbage the Hawks are what Grav called the Flyers last year and NO Bedard would NOT help Chicago.The Hawks need 3 Bedard's.Even when the Hawks were gifted Denis Savard they had a LOT more to become a legit contender and this Hawks team has NOTHING up front so there is no hope the Hawks are maybe worse than Anaheim.
We have to really shake our heads the whole design of the NHL and it's systems was SUPPOSED to create parity and it has accomplished NONE of that there are some really good teams and some VERY bad teams there is ZERO parity…good job Bettman good job NHLPA…./pfft.

Detroit should be top 5. Copp and Veleno are trash. Larkin is good but he's not a top center on most teams and Kasper is likely going to be a really really good third line center. But our Center depth is shallow as fuck in general

For the most part I agree. I think Detroit could be further back as well as Anaheim. I don’t think Anaheim was a hot take. San Jose should be further up the board considering the don’t have a lot of depth and haven’t had a top three pick in a very long time. Chicago desperately needs him but has Kane and Toews so I’d say no. I look at it a little differently.

My Flyers are 2nd in need behind Chicago. We are 32nd in deserving though. As a hockey fan, bias aside, it would be bad for hockey if we ended up with Bedard. Somehow we’d ruin him.

Which team would make the NHL the most money? That's who he will go to. Think the NY Rangers got the #2 and #1 picks in a row because they were the worst team? Or got good lottery luck? Nope, they make the NHL the money. By that token, my guess is one of the original 6 teams, likely Chicago.
i just hope he goes to an organization that isn't run like a clown show….. i.e. Vancouver or Chicago (yeah, i don't think what happened there in 2010 should be rewarded)

The amount of entitled habs fans is crazy, they just selected first and botched it and now they want another. There is no pleasing this delusional bunch, they always vastly overrate their prospects and then turn their back on them the moment they leave (kotkaniemi). The habs absolutely do not deserve anything near first, what they actually deserve is for the hockey gods to strike them down
Chicago purposely left Lukas Reichel in the AHL so he wouldn't impact their tank. And I'm sure others.. No one down there could beat out Buddy Robinson as a second line winger? That alone should doom them to 4th.
