Now 27 years old, Goldobin, has scored 41 goals and 53 assists in three seasons in the KHL (141 games)
I don’t think there would be interest from the Canucks but I honestly wonder if any other team would offer him a roster spot? Thoughts?

The guy has all the skill in the world but was just terrible at defence and couldnt put it together for long enough to hold down a spot. He falls into the category of not good enough for a top-6 spot but not good enough defensively to hold down a spot in the bottom 6. It would be cool if he could prove me wrong and hold down a top-6 spot but at this stage in his career I think its highly unlikely
The guy was PPG player in the AHL. Once he got into Green’s doghouse, there was no getting out of it
I’d give him a year on a Kuzmenko-Petterson-Goldobin line
Last thing we need is yet another offensive, slow, inconsistent winger. Shouldn’t even consider this. We need to be shedding these kind of guys, not adding more.
Goldobin has great stints with Horvat and then Petey — but when tasked with a deeper role struggled. Was good in the NHL.
I don’t think he fits our team but he’s probably worth a shot to another team, esp if they can shelter him on a line that needs some jump.
Skate wide then shoot into crest.
Watched him do that till they wouldn’t let him do that anymore.
Hes not an nhl player, on a winning team.
My best memory of Goldobin is when Dhaliwal slid into my DMs just to shit on him lmao
Goldobin reminded me of Reid Boucher but Goldobin doesn’t pray on underage kids…. I am still salty over Boucher I had so much hope for him until that was discovered so now all that hope is on to Goldobin to make it in the nhl TEN FOLDS!!!!!!
Bros first game with the Canucks was hype
Let Arizona sign him
Wow I miss baby boy Goldobin. He had some outrageous skill.
Depends….
Is Milstein his agent?
We don’t need him. Probably ends up in Winnipeg.
Wasn’t his attitude pretty shitty as well?
Just looking at his stats he seemed to regress this year compared to his previous year in the KHL
I mean sure, but we already have a lot of players who do a better job of playing Goldobin’s game.
That being said isn’t his stats kinda mid for the KHL anyway? I remember when people were clowning Jaskin re-signing in the NHL but at least he was a productive KHL player at above PPG, Goldy has 36 in 59 this season. We have players who can produce the same whilst also providing value through physicality or special teams
Remember when Jim Benning traded for Goldobin and Dahlen in 2017, and it saved his job that season? Holy shit I remember thinking that was a great move. How wrong I was :(.
