  1. Is is possible to resign Brock to a deal as a Defense man? I see his game translate to a good RHD game!

  2. Top 10 player? I could name 30-40 players I d take on my team over him. He top 10 in points this year but he’s nowhere near a top 10 player

  3. Pettersson isn’t back. Stop it. He has improved, looking far more like himself. However his skating at times is still an issue, he gets pushed off the puck far too often. He almost never dangles and dekes around people anymore. For him to be “back” he has to put up 66+ Points in a full season. Then i’ll say he’s back. Until then he’s just chasing the player we thought he was two years ago.

  4. Man, I've been saying the Canucks probably need to trade Miller, but it really sucks that they have to do that… perhaps they can keep him, but can they come up with the big cash to resign after next season ? He's probably going to demand something in the 7mill/year range… that's just too much for the Canucks with their salary cap woes.

  5. If I was a Vancouver fan I would rather an elite young forward and a draft pick than Miller on my team right now, I would be a little excited to see what he fetches

  6. minnesota made a offer for jt months ago before all the winning started….now its this big thing where he's up for trade and in every rumor..if minny never inquired about him we would never be in these discussions. ya his value is high…but you will never get back a player like him in any draft or prospect. pettersson wont stick around for a rebuild either…so you loose 2 players. this will be another media trade if it happens.

  7. Man, you have beer googles. He’s a good, not great player on a bad team. You’re getting two decent prospects and a pick for him. The tofoli trade set the market. You can hold onto him and get nothing then next year when jt comes back to jt you won’t get snytjjfb

  8. F it lets go on a cup run, we need a violent dman an a top 6 LW ..boudreau has way better line combos an has them flying..that win last night is going to send them on another 7 game win streak…We should trade for Chara right now he is cheap violent playoff experience , play him with hamonic ..big z is playing 18mins a night on a bad islanders team an he is still a plus 4 , he has 236k cap hit left ..oel feedin him 1 timers on 2nd pp unit wont hurt either. We trade a 3rd an a 5th for him right now an if at trade deadline we are playoff bound we see if we can get forsberg if not we give up poolman an a 2nd for domi an reunite him with horvat..if at trade deadline we are not near the playoffs we re trade big z for a 3rd an all we gave up is a 5th to try it

  9. Who cares how bad we were under green, who care about all of us saying trade petey trade miller trade bo etc etc ..lets focus on the now an go after a f in cup we need 1 in van.

  10. JT Miller has become a great player would look great playing RW with bread and Strome problem is his contract he is not Echel because he doesn’t play Center nor does he have term Laffy is untouchable Sniader is untouchable Jones is untouchable No way you get more than Chitiel plus Neil’s lindquiest and Patrick Neimath to make salaries match up Dury would say no free lunch of my back plus our number one this year you guys are this close to sending out a letter yourself and totally burning it down due to your Cap and another lost season

  11. Top 10 is pushing it for miller. He’s a top second line centre but top 10? That’s pushing it to a different territory.

  12. Really needs to trade Miller now when his value is the highest. Not that he is not a good player. But he is the wrong age for our core group which is most likely going to peak three years later.

  13. Gio the Canucks played well last night
but we are what we are sit back relax
and hold Patrik's beer he's got this,

  14. With the aging Horvat and Power Forward you get with Miller, I think the Canucks best move right now is to trade Boeser for a top RHD. Boeser isnt the type of player who can drive the play so you will always need someone with him to do that. Only temporary replacement is Garland for a Boeser role on the top line.

Then hope Podz and Hog can develop into the forwards they can be for 2nd line.

  15. He's performing out of him being able to be traded, meaning teams like the rangers were interested because he was a solid top 6 forward meaning affordable to trade for and keep a cup run team in tact. Now that he is honestly worthy of a big return it's not worth trading for him anymore

  16. I feel like the Canucks should keep Miller, and trade Boeser instead, if you rlly like Miller, keep him, he means a lot to you guys

  17. Miller is not a top 10 player, and he isn't a top 20 player. He is a borderline top 30 player. JT Miller is currently 27th in pts per game among players with 30+ games played. And if we bumo that up to 40+ games played, he only moves up to 24th in pts per game. Also throw in je has very bad 5v5 defensive metrics. And he definitely isn't a top 20 forward foget about a top 20 player. I get he's having a great year, but he isn't even close to a top player in the NHL.

  18. We were probably all just feeling frustrated like EP40 himself was feeling. Good to see him back… As for Miller, he may have really played himself out of a trade talk – how can you trade away a top 10 player in the league and get fair value in return? I don't think there is a team willing to give the Canucks what Miller should garner in return.
