Dallas winning game 2 tells me this will be a long series. If Seattle would've won then this series would've been over quickly
I’m not one to blame the refs but they gave Dallas the red carpet tonight. So many missed calls. I don’t care about this series either way but that was terrible.
Two days of rest should be good for the boys. Soucy is the reason we lost this game today. Without his and Borgen's absolute boneheaded penalties this one is a toss up.

Already in this series you are seeing the big difference between the Stars and the Avs without Landeskog and Nichushkin, the Stars are able to get that net front offense and capitalize on tips and those juicy rebounds Grubi loves to give up. I had a feeling Pavelski would feast in this series

This series pains me greatly as someone who cheers for both teams. Tonight was 90% Dallas' game. I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if this goes to 7.

This was the first road game where Seattle was absolutely schooled. They went 3-1 against Colorado and even the one loss was a close one that felt like Seattle more so lost it than Colorado won it, and then of course they outplayed Dallas in enough of Tuesday to pull it out. Today, Dallas totally took over, and while I had them beating Seattle I feel like I underestimated the Stars, because with their style of play I could totally see them winning the west.
Even then though, Seattle wasn’t necessarily out of it for a large part of the game. I think the fact that Dallas played very well AND Seattle played very poorly and yet it still was only 4-2 shows that if Seattle does better they do have the ability to maybe steal this from Dallas (I say steal it because I really doubt the Kraken take this series by outright outplaying the Stars). Even if Dallas is better, results are all that matter at the end of the day.
I am just hoping for the series to go to at least 6 (or Seattle to win in 5), just because I want another weekend game with a night out afterward, and the next possible one would be game 6 on next Saturday. That’s all I’m asking for in terms of fun.
Sometimes I wonder if Shannon could get a job as a hockey analyst, a commentator, maybe a junior league coach. Then I realize, he has that job and he does it for us!! Except for maybe the coaching, but maybe he's just happy doing this. I can't complain. 😀 Keep doing you Hockey Guy!

Dallas seemed to play more physical in this game than in Game 1, kind of like they did against Minnesota. I had a feeling they'd bounce back. Go Stars!
