  1. "Get in there wierdos on Twitter, how is this guy a grown man?" might be one of the funniest things I've heard Steve say over the years.

  2. Bobrovsky is apparently going to continue god mode against the Leafs. They better figure it out in gm3. Not saying you can't come back from 3-0 but….

  3. It would be the most leafs thing ever to finally win a playoff series and get all of the fans who had checked out over the years to come back and get emotionally invested in the team again only to immediately get swept in the second round

  4. When a golfer breaks 100 (like Leafs winning a playoff series in 19 years) they celebrate but are not a good average golfer. The Leafs in series 2 – look like themselves in the playoffs – and some are now asking if the Leafs will not win another series in the next 18 years? The Leafs are a good regular season team & Marner does end up with individual personal records and his extreme high pay so he wins by that.

  5. If the Leafs don't get and capitalize on power plays I'm not sure the playoffs offer enough time and space for their skill players to be stars when it counts.

  6. Panthers goalie is giving his team confidence, every good save emboldens the team to keep digging, that's what their doing, it's not rocket science, their burying their chances, and bounces go your way when you do that, their on a roll, probably the best timing in hockey history, the balloon will pop, probably, but they look solid. Who knows how far they'll go, if they keep this up they'll be holding the cup above their heads.

  7. “Doesn’t this feel familiar a little bit?”

    No. Because Florida Won.

  8. Marner passing to his boyfriend who then gave it away that quickly resulted in the 3rd Florida goal was classic.

  9. When Panthers tied it up notice all the leaf players that fell down. What the heck is going on? To be honest I have no idea why any sports journalist had the leafs winning this series. They haven’t played a 60 minute game once. Notice in this series they’re not crashing the net like they did against Tampa.

  10. I honestly don't understand how the league has gotten to this point. The panthers barely made the playoffs, they had their heads up their asses most of the season. Wtf is the difference? Is it just the refs letting more rough stuff go so it plays to Florida's advantage? Seriously, it's bonkers to me.

  11. The Leaf fans dont deserve it.
    It's just that simple.
They don't support their team and certainly don't inspire them.
    Dysfunctional.

  12. I really don't think they blew it…they never really had it…1 out of 3 maybe. Crazy weak goalie on the leaf side.

  13. Panthers have been completely clogging centre ice. The leafs attackers can’t even skate into their zone. This is forcing players like Nylander to try and get past 3 defenders at once. It’s forcing the leafs to play solo on attack.

It’s the football (soccer) equivalent of gengenpressing.
