I check in with my good mate, Australian pro cyclist for Ag2R-Citroen, Ben O’Connor, three days before Le Tour Grand Depart for a bike check of his BMC Teammachine SLR01 road and BMC Timemachine 01 time trial bikes.

  1. To me you are one of the few people on YouTube who do not appear to put on a show for the sake of the video but seem to have a genuine conversation that just "happens to be filmed". Makes a difference, thanks!

  2. Tristan, if you read this and are in touch with Ben please pass along our best wishes for a speedy recovery during tomorrow's (11 July) rest day and return to the Tour!

  3. These 2023 ver. Look Keo Blade Carbon Ceramic Ti have not entered the market yet. All we can buy today is still the 2020 ver.

  4. I’m interested to see what size bike and stem and saddle he rides. As he is quite tall for a GC rider.

  5. I wonder about the "Smart" inner tube durability and ability to hold air for a beginner rider/weekend rider. I have heard the latex inner tubes are supposed to be fast but flat easily and doesn't hold air very long.
Thanks for the great video. 👍

  6. Like a conversation between 2 friends..such informal videos with the pros makes cycling seems a little more realistic and accessible.
