Slafkovsky was the fist pick overall in a very weak year. He has good tools but Slaf has to be developed properly. This is not rocket science, young prospects need a lot of ice time to improve their playing skills, this is why at 18 years old, they usually stay with their original teams for a couple more years after being drafted. Guhle, Suzuki and even Caulfield stayed two more years in junior/NCAA prior joinning the Canadiens. Slaf should have played his very first season on a smaller ice rink in the AHL like Simon Nemec and David Jiricek who were also drafted 2nd and 6th after Slaf. Montreal botched Slaf's very first year…!!!
He's not a rantanen slaf was a terrible pick at first overall he's at best a 3 Rd line winger I have heinamen ahead of him and Caufield usually plays left side to be on his off wing we're in the top 6 do you suggest they fit him he needs to betake that spot it shouldn't just be given to him cause he's big. He needs to keep his head up and use his size. And you'll see the production go up

Tropical do you use your instagram acc ? I had a question in your dms
good take
There is no problem with him. He's a power forward it takes time to grow into the nhl. He's played what like 30-40 games? Gotta chill out about it
Agreed.

You scared me with the title😅. You have a very valid take though!
Edit: to add another piece of evidence to your argument, Slaf had a 5 game stint where he played in the top 6, he got 4 points.
