Played our best game and we still lost. We are going to either get swept or lose in 5. Thats just how the series is gonna go unfortunately.

I would have loved a TO Oilers final but TO is not looking that good for long stretches at a time and when they do press they can't finish. Some puck luck and a bounce or two wouldn't hurt.
They just spent way too much money on Matthews, Marner and Tavares and then Covid hit and froze the cap forcing them to move guys like Hyman and preventing them from addressing their D and G positions effectively.
Honestly after this game I did think to myself, maybe give Woll next game? Bit of a hot take, and I don't think it will happen. Sammy has been good yes, but also has looked shaky from time to time. What do you guys think?

The comment about the better team isn’t the Florida Panthers shows your bias. If you watched the Panthers all year, you’d see why most teams say they are a scary team to play. They are so underrated it’s pathetic.
In case you forgot the regular season, the Panthers took 3/4 games to overtime against the Leafs. And they are up 2-0 win wins on your home ice. After winning a tough series against THE best team in hockey this year!

Well, they say: "It's not over till it's over", so we will find out in the next games. They need to send their scouts up in the northern parts of Europe and recruit a decent goalie. Without a couple of good goalies, the team is not complete. And while they are scouting, look around for some good defenseman. In these playoffs I've never seen a team like Toronto suffer getting the puck out of the blue zone (line). With that said they have a great team, hopefully stick together and try next year.
Honestly the Leafs aren’t playing terrible out there….aside from physicality…they need to get more physical and not allow stupid plays to happen like the body slam by Bennett to Knies or the cross check by Bennett to Bunting.
Like it’s time to take the gloves off it’s time to play harder out there for a full 60 in all aspects. Maybe it’s time for the Wayne Train to come out of the station to have him go after Bennett a bit and maybe Tkachuk… maybe slow them down a bit make them look over their shoulders a bit. Slow them down.
Other than that, Bob is on fire…get some bodies in front of the net.

I couldn't disagree with Bunkis more. They don't look nervous, it's the opposite. Florida is so much easier than Tampa they are trying to make plays instead of playing safe. They look better, but they didn't get the result.
