Best wheelchair parking

Hi, I confess we’re not going to a game at LCA, but rather to see Aerosmith in September… but we can use this info to go to Wings games too, which we do enjoy!

My wife is in a complex power wheelchair so we’re looking for the closest, easiest handicap parking that I can pre-reserve? I searched and people say use Parkwhiz, which is fine – how far in advance do they open parking reservations? At which locations should I be looking? It’s a [heavy chair (this one, 500 lbs plus her 120)](https://external-content.duckduckgo.com/iu/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fpermobilwebcdn.azureedge.net%2Fmedia%2F202lu2oi%2Ff5corpusvs-banner2.jpg&f=1&nofb=1&ipt=9ec64bead13c3c51d81c9ef52d8289329ca9a2451dbcb42ffba2776c02b61404&ipo=images) so we need to drive it on decent sidewalks without big gaps, avoid tore up construction, good curb cut ramps, decent sized elevators, non-narrow doorways, etc. I get it out of the back of our minivan with portable ramps.

Thanks for any help!

Park in the LCA garage. It’ll cost more, but it’s going to be the closest and likely most accessible option.

Technically you could book in ParkWhiz now, but the only lots I saw when I just checked were farther away. I know LCA treats handicap parking first come first serve, but in this instance I think it’s worth contacting the arena to see when you might be able to book a spot in the LCA garage and for any other accommodations that may be needed.

I hope you and your wife have fun at Aerosmith! And hopefully the experience goes well enough that you make it to a Wings game too!
