Опоздание конечно большое, но какая гордость и радость приходит когда величайший трофей мирового хоккея поднимает русский. Русский я не стыжусь этого, много наших игроков дают просраться канадской и американской школе хоккея. Так будет и дальше. Саше успехов, благополучия. Всё будет хорошо!!!

I remember watching this live and I was so happy and drunk lol I had lost my voice that night from yelling and screaming ju cing Ovi finally hoisting the cup and just happy for our team after years of disappointment in the playoffs for us to finally get the monkey off the back I wasn’t emotional but I felt that passion and just weight lifted of just knowing no body can say we didn’t win a cup cause that night all that was put to rest and ovi deservingly won a cup that he is a champion now and will probably go down as the all time goal scorer in NHL history along with his other accolades he’s piled up along the way this will never get old and what truly brought me back to watch this again is the excitement of the playoffs this year and beating the panthers hopefully we can win this series and hope Wilson n Carlson are good to go game 2 but let’s get another cup GO CAPS

When my Avs started losing, I became an Ovechkin fan. This was my 3rd favorite NHL moment behind '96 and 01'.
I come back and visit this moment each year during the playoffs. Ovi’s cup lift 🙌
That was pure class by all the Vegas fans. They knew what that meant to Ovi and cheered him on👍

GREATEST MOMENT IN SPORTS HISTORY, that's a fact.
There have been 6 cups that have brought tears to my eyes. 93 I cried tears of sadness when Montreal won the cup. 2001 I cried bittersweet tears when Rob Blake hoisted the cup for the Avalanche. 2002 was the hardest to watch when my favorite player of all time Robitaille hoisted the cup for the team I hate the most in hockey the red wings. Then finally tears of utter joy in 2012 and 2014. And then this one. Ovi and Oshie made this one special.
Imagine being a top team in the NHL for ten years and never making it past the second round in the playoffs…..and then you finally broke thru!! Ovechkin's team lost so many times in the playoffs, he has gray hair when he finally lifts the Cup!!!
