  1. I think Chris Weidman has one more championship run in him. He's got everything you look for in a fighter: world class wrestling, granite chin, power in both hands, and the heart of a lion. He's just had really bad luck but I think he comes back better than ever and will challenge for that strap again. People need to recognize that he is a legend and possibly the greatest to ever do it!

  2. One of the best MWs ever and IMO, a future HOFer. I still remember watching him on the come-up when the UFC had the FOX deal. His run of Mark Muñoz, Damian Maia, Anderson 2x, Lyoto and then Vitor was amazing to watch! I think his 2 wins against Silva and his wins against Lyoto and Vitor would warrant his induction into the HOF one day.

  3. I snapped my tibia and fibula in my early twenties. You wouldn't believe I used to wrestle and play soccer given how stiff I am these days. I would of killed for PRP and stem cell injections back in my day. Happy for Chris. He is easy to root for. I hope he has a successful comeback.

  4. The whole "thank God" thing is so chilche, like your hard work and perseverance didn't do anything.. like God made you do all that lmao

  5. I saw the injury live on TV and was almost in tears. Made me hate the sport for a brief period. I am happy to see Weidman back and go to decision in a grappling match regardless of the result. I hope he calls it a career in MMA. Shouldn't risk it again. He was a champ with 3 title defences. Surely has made good money too.

  6. Chris Weidman is a UFC legend, one of my favorite fighters, really humble, respectful guy, he had a amazing reign as MW champ, loved the way he beat Anderson Silva back in 2013 and his incredible title defense against Lyoto Machida in 2014, happy to see him healthy after the leg injury ❤
