Marcus Foligno kneeing on Radek Faksa – Tough Call Suspension Recommendation
Marcus Foligno put himself on the trolley tracks with Radek Faksa and unfortunately his instinct was to make his base wider than it already was. It could have cost them both.
Yeah I think foligno is playing to aggressive. Like I said with his previous infractions, I just think hes trying to make big hits to rile up the team and the fans. It aint working for him or his team. Maybe his coach or himself is telling him to play that way, idk. But this play should at least be a one gamer.
Not sure about this one. There's a lot happening there. Faksa is turning, and Foligno is adjusting. I think Foligno is the only one who knows for sure how much intent was there. Either way, awful to see a hit like that.
If he actually was trying to body check, he is possibly the worst body checker in the league these days. Considering how reckless he's been playing these playoffs, I do not give him the benefit of the doubt. The fact he stuck his leg out, and left it there, and never adjusted course to make a hit, or avoid the knee… He knew exactly what he was doing.
Foligno has had "mean on" ever since the 2 iffy minors the game prior. Instead of using it as motivation to score/skate/hit contribute he goes and does this.
1 goal and -1 in 5 gp, wonder why he's frustrated 😶

Pretty sure that was done on purpose. Such a Minnesota wild thing to do

Well the League said nope. Nothing to see here. Tripping minor at most. Play on.
