[Jonathan Heck](https://sabrenoise.com/author/jheck/) on Fansided posted an interesting topic that I have often thought about. Thought I’d share it here in case folks missed it. I’m not enjoying the playoffs as much as I hoped. The first round was good, but this second round has been lacking, IMHO. I hope that changes soon. Maybe seeing Jack-off winning has triggered me. I don’t think most fans are celebrating that we failed to make use of players that are having sucess with other teams lol. At this point in time it seems to be working out for the best, but Fasching/Des is the perfect example of a guy (Fasching) we gave an arm and a leg for, did nothing with us, we get nothing for him, then he scores a goal in an important game for us on the Islanders, who presumably got him for free. Anybody who left the roster before KA was hired was a farce, with the one fluke exception of ROR where we got RJ(1st), Berglund, Sobotka, and Tage. Only exception.
