[Koshan] #Leafs have 7 PPs in the series, Panthers 2. What is Toronto doing to earn more? Keefe: “We’re getting hit in the head a lot, so there’s that. The officials are making the calls, and there is a lot more out there too, but that’s part of it. We have to remain disciplined.”

It’s a shame the dirty play style that the panthers play always gets rewarded with victories in the playoffs
But I’m here for the regression that starts Sunday. The 6ix in 6.
Maybe if the refs actually did their fucking jobs.. then the penalties would be more like 20-5.. but seems like these refs have come out for an easy beer league skate around.
The Panthers are making a lot of calls pretty easy for the refs.
I mean,[FLA is also #5 in PIMs in the regular season](https://imgur.com/a/Le24qYe), so there’s that.
Besides FLA at #5, #s 1-13 are no longer in the playoffs and most did not even make it to the first round.
Main problem I see is the Leafs are not scoring enough and punishing the Panthers for it. Sure, blame the reffing if you want but I’d argue that not scoring on the pp in game 1 – especially those 2 early ones – cost the game for us and prevented us from coming back into the game in game 2. I’d also bet the Panthers would be more careful of committing bad plays and if it meant an automatic goal for us. Bottom line is the powerplay hasn’t been good enough for the Leafs to win.
Why aren’t the Leafs demanding that the league do something about all these hits in the head, young player out for this series in his first year with a concussion? why are they not demanding for answers?
Get Gustafsson in for gio, we need to score on PPs to win this series
Soā¦ 2 of our PPs from from a 4-minute penalty with less than a minute left, so thatās like half a powerplay, but might as well call it one. And the Panthers had two penalties called in game 1 alone (they scored on the 6v5) – to not count that but to count both penalties of the double minor is some dubious accounting thereā¦
At the end of the day suspensions are out of our hands, the Leafs can only control whatās happening on the ice. Revenge aside we need to come away with a victory Sunday or its over, nothing else matters. Consider it another piece of adversity that they have to overcome.
Leafs losing is on them. They were good enough to win both games. They need to solve Bobrovski. Canāt win an NHL game scoring 2 goals.
The Leafs are clearly putting their heads in the way of elbows and sticks, trying to get calls.
The fact a question is posed to the team on the receiving end of an infraction on how theyāre making that happen more is so fucking dumb
The Panthers committed infractions that should have resulted in about 40 penalties, but bitch bc they had 7 called. Call more ffs.
