We got another hilarious hot mic

Another hot mic! These are the moments I live for. In todays Boston Bruins vs Florida Panthers NHL playoff game, TNT broadcasted ANOTHER hilarious hot mic from this series after the referee turned on his mic early. We saw the one from earlier in this series that was incredible and while todays wasn’t as extensive, what was hilarious about this one was that the entire arena heard the ref say “Don’t fu**ing test me”. So good. As for the game, it was a beauty. The big story line coming into it, was that Montgomery was starting Jeremy Swaymen and deciding to sit this years sure bet Vezina trophy winner in Ullmark. After a slow start, it looked like the Bruins would hold on to win but boy or boy did it get interesting in the end as this one went to overtime! I cover it all in todays NHL hockey video!

  1. Don't feel bad for Boston fans at all. This is what they deserve for thinking they're untouchable.

  2. The ego is half the problem with NHL refs.. they talk tough with the players and act as if they will physically discipline them like some old fashioned parent(despite the fact that any player would smash them).
And when they're not doing that, they're trying to be their buddies and call them by their team nicknames… so pathetic.

  3. Boston's play in their own zone tonight was fuckin embarrassing. Watch each goal and you see them either give the puck away, or just lose their coverage and resort to watching the play

  4. there is no sport that is even close to the insanity that is the NHL. its so raw lol I love it

  5. When I saw those two bogus penalties that would get them both Academy awards, I immediately thought "the hockey Gods aren't gonna let that ish go". Should've just played the game and left all the shinanigans to Tkachuk.

  6. I love hockey, but this whole year is full of bad referring. They act like they're the show, what they are is shit. I haven't seen one game this playoffs that had the hard hitting, aggressive next level play like past seasons. Entire teams look like they've given up. Boston doesn't fight anymore?
My prediction is the Leaf's (or Oilers) win the cup. That's the script….. Like all major sports leagues, the fix is in.

  7. leafs vs hurricanes and oilers vs kraken/stars (can't decide)

    then

Leafs – Oilers (Canadian Stanley Cup)

    Oilers win.

  8. If only there were hot mics in the era of Bruce Hood, Wally Harris, Neil Armstrong, Brian Lewis, Bill McCreary, Kerry Fraser, Matt Pavelich, Ray Scapinello, Leon Stickle, Swede Knox or especially John D'Amico…we would have heard some beauties.

  9. Burt and Pasta must be watching the Tampa games fake and dive when your down to get a power play. The princess Hagel still crying bout not getting a call. No respect for players like that glad to see you lose.

  10. Imagine winning 3 straight games against an nhl record beating team with zero stat advantages. Goes to show you stats are irrelevant come playoff time i mean look even colorado got taken out. AND TORONTO MADE IT what alternate timeline is this?

  11. I'm so incredibly happy that Boston went down. I hope it's humbling. I feel bad for the guys that don't already have a ring but I'm very happy for the 4 ex-flyers that have a chance to get closer to a cup than they wouldn't have if they were still in Philly. I'm not a bolts fan but was bummed to see that Elliott will never get to hoist the cup. He's a great guy and deserves it. I was also hoping to see a royal series in the west. Kings/knights would've been pretty cool and I was excited to see how they would've promoted the series. Maybe next year. I wouldn't mind seeing the rangers get it.

  12. The Panthers out played them for most of the game, series, and they won.
Congratulations Florida Panthers. Goodbye Boston Bruins. It was great hockey.

  13. I love the outcome of this series but now Florida is blocking Canadians from attending the games in Florida? Go leafs!

  14. I wish you people would stop saying it was the best season ever. They got the most wins in the regular 82 game season where u get to play until there's a winner. Now I will try to educate you on the greatest season ever by what many say was. The greatest team EVER! 76/77 Montreal Canadiens. That season they had a record of 60 wins, 8 losses and 12 ties. Oh and by the way, they went 12 and 2 in the playoffs beating the Bruins in the final 4-0. End of discussion

  15. The reaction by Pastrnak on that penalty call would be envied by any soccer player. You'd think there was a sniper in the crowd.

  16. Did anyone really think this Bruins team was the best team(win wise) in history? I sure didn't. None of the players on the team will go down in history as some of the greatest players. Maybe Pastanak has a chance if he can keep scoring as this pace. Bergeron while great 2 way player will not be remembered as one of the greatest players ever. The goalies are average and always have been, the have benefited from a good all around team in front of them. But I never really thought this team was as good as their record showed.

  17. Refs on those calls thought it was the Islanders and Avalanche playing. Drink some water Boston, so you quit choking.

  18. What an epic choke. Gotta love it.

Rumor has it there was flash flooding after the game in the Boston area from all the crying Jack Edwards and Andy Brickley were doing. I think they needed tampons, too.

This could not have happened to a better bunch of fans. And that look on Marchand's face is priceless.

  19. real tough guy wearing white and black, don't mess w them… funny just because of how big of a joke it is you're a ref, calm down

  20. There needs to be a nhl extreme subscription where players wear mics and you can hear all the chirps. I’d pay top dollar for that.

  21. I don't know if this counts as a hot mic moment, but this ref's hot mic moment reminded me of the one from the New York Rangers vs. New Jersey Devils game. The ref called a penalty and said, "Sit down!" I don't know who to, though.

Also, at 3:20, seeing the Panthers' goalie bouncing up and down like that just made my day.
