It did not take long for the hammer to come down after the Rangers’ season ended in first-round tears on Monday night.
The Rangers parted ways with head coach Gerard Gallant the team announced Saturday, following the Blueshirts’ massive disappointment of a Game 7 loss to the Devils, a 4-0 no-show which rendered their 107-point regular season a footnote.
The Post’s Larry Brooks was the first to report the news.

Bet I can find ton's of articles and social media post's praising the shit out of this guy 50 weeks ago. Players need to take a lot of this blame and so should Drury for trading for a name that apparently had a serious enough injury.

I don't think it was gallent fault .. How are you going to win.. When your top scorer has 1 point in 7 games plus the kid line didn't have the impact they did last playoffs .. it not his fault
The team was fractured and GG couldn't fix it 😢 the team look confused at times and never ready all season when games would start. Having a great goalie tho makes up for it and makes the team think they are better than they are.
