Many people ask me what teams do I hate and my answer is NONE! Some people expect me to hate the NY Rangers or Boston Bruins since I am a Florida Panthers fan, but the reality is even since the NJ Devils and NY Islanders have beaten us in the playoffs, no ill will from me. I will admit however that I am not a huge fan of seeing teams like the Buffalo Sabres and Detroit Red Wings become good and possibly better than my Panthers. Nor do I enjoy the older teams like the Pittsburgh Penguins and Washington Capitals continuing to be as good as or better than my team, mainly because those teams have been so consistent over the years. Of course, I do enjoy seeing players who we traded do well in other cities like the Philadelphia Flyers and Vancouver Canucks, but I am used to it.
In terms of my Miami Dolphins, I will admit my feelings about the Buffalo Bills, NY Jets and especially the New Englad Patriots are not exactly loving. In addition, seeing teams like the Jacksonville Jaguars and NY Giants make it as far or further than the Dolphins is upsetting. I will admit to NOT liking the Kansas City Chiefs, and having a soft spot for the Green Bay Packers. Just like the NHL, I cover the NFL playoffs as well so even if you are a Cincinnati Bengals fan, or even a San Francisco 49’s or Philadelphia Eagles fan, again this channel will be for you. Teams I am hoping will make the playoffs next season include the Detroit Lions, NY Jets and maybe even the Denver Broncos, just for the fun of it all!

Im sorry but …the Leafs didn't beat us …. We ran out of gas and beat ourselves in situations plus all the injuries. This team really isn't shit. This is series is over …. Good luck in the ECF Jawsy.
I put $100 on Pens to win and another team to win against the panthers. Panthers win both to make the playoffs. I then jumped in and put $100 on game 5 and 6 each betting on Boston to win. I put $300 on game 7 on Boston to win. Panthers win all 3. And I put $200 tonight on Toronto to win. Now panthers up 1-0 in series. That’s $900 already just for Florida to make it to round 2. On every game I bet against the panthers, the panthers win. I’m 6-0. Including game 5, 6, 7 in Boston series. It’s pay to win baby. As happy as I am with panthers, paying for panthers to win is getting expensive for me. I’m not betting on next game. Panthers have to do it without my help.

I feel like Toronto might be experiencing a bit of what the panthers had last year, the high from finally breaking the first round curse can kill the motivation in round two. We’ll see what happens, but I’m cheering for the comeback cats as a bolts fan!
Jaws, you were so close! You got the score right, just got the wrong winner. Having been in several Leafs videos both before and after the game, this is what class and respect looks like. Fucking learn from this guy and try to remember what showing respect to your opponent looks like.
Last year was the "at least we got here" year. This year, go further. The East is still tough but the Cats can do it. Enjoy the series, enjoy the moment.
Refs missed that call and that’s on them sorry. Reviewing for a penalty after the whistle is just soft. A penalty is a Penalty but should’ve been paying attention. Refs getting too much power these playoffs and someone’s getting screwed over soon.

Panthers have a lot of momentum going after they beat the Bruins. If the Leafs don't bounce back in game 2 and get the win this could be a short series. On a side note Toronto sports teams have a knack for losing game 1 at home in the playoffs. Leafs and Blue Jays but especially the Raptors. During the DeRozan and Lowry era it was practically a given that it would happen lol.

Leafs fan here. While I think the Leafs played BETTER than they generally did against the Lightning, there were still mistakes made. Some forced by the Panthers, but more than a couple of their own making. And the Panthers made sure the Leafs paid dearly for every single one of them.
The Panthers played a great game, in the best way to play against the Leafs: never giving them room to breathe, never slowing down for a second, never giving them a chance to build momentum (outside of the 2nd period). Every time the Leafs tried to do ANYTHING, there was always SOMEONE there to make it an absolute nightmare to pull off. As a Leafs fan, that was frustrating as hell towatch, but OBJECTIVELY, that's brilliant play by Florida.
And on top of that, Bob was fantastic last night. Especially in those last few minutes. It should have been hopeless for the Leafs at that point, but they showed that they weren't gonna lay down without a fight. During the 6-on-5, it was Bobrovsky that held the Panthers together. The Leafs were just landing shot after shot after shot, and Bobrovsky didn't yield once.
You guys played better, and won a game you deserved to win. Well played. If this is a preview of the rest of the series, then whichever way it goes, it's gonna be entertaining as hell to watch.

i think you're underrating the leafs physicality and overrating speed. leafs are a slow team now. so far in playoffs leafs have 41.91 hits per 60 (3rd) to the panthers 38.08 (8th). reg season leafs were 23rd in hits panthers 24th, with only getting schenn and acciari at the TDL, both top 10 hitters in reg season. a loose run and gun game like the panthers last year is unwinnable for the leafs, they havent played that style since the muzzin trade. scoring has decreased, defensive numbers massively increased. 3.39 GF per GP (9th) 2.68 GA per GP (7th)
When we make it to the Stanley cup finals I think the toughest team is going to be Seattle this year if they make it all the way look what they did to Dallas yesterday

Whatever you do, don't get too overconfident. The Leafs had tons of scoring chances and were 0-5 on the PP. If they capitalize of those chances when they could have scored the first two goals in the first period, it's a different game.
