   You are 100% correct here. If Zach Benson is the best available at 5, 6 or 7, we just take the best available. No more gamble for someone like KK or Slafvosky anymore. We can sign someone with size anytime, skills are difficult to come by. I still can't get over we gambled on size on Slaf and not picking skilled player Logan Cooley. Also gambled on KK and passed on brady tkachuk. You can't gamble on top 5 pick, you pick the best available. If we draft at #12-20, then it is ok to gamble.

   Regarding Zach Benson. Has same size as Johnny Gaudreau (Craig Button's NHL comparable).

   His Skating and Hockey IQ is rated amongst the best in the draft (according to Sportsnet recent article from my quick scan, only Bedard, Fantilli and Michkov's are slightly better).

   At picks #5-7 I won't lose any sleep if Habs pick him.
