Linus Ullmark on Playoff injury

  1. I've been a B's fan since 1966 (when I was 11). Yes, just before the dinosaurs went extinct. If Ullmark wasn't 100%, it was up to Essensa and Montgomery to figure it out. In my opinion and I do know hindsight is 2020, I think Sways should have started when the B's were up 3-1. Oh well, no use crying over spilt milk or …. the best chance almost ever of winning THE CUP.

  2. It was so clear even Game 2 onwards that Ullmark couldn't quite deal with whatever was bothering him going into the playoffs. Monty needs to take accountability for completely mismanaging this team and the roster from Game 2 on. If Ullmark wasn't in Game 5 this series likely would've ended then.

  3. Trade him now while his value is at its peak. Shed some salary and replenish the severely depleted draft pick pool. Jim Carey 2.0

  4. Sure when you can’t stop a beach ball you were injured forsure 😂 if your injured don’t play! Bruised ego’s aren’t injuries 😂

  5. This guy has some nerve after leaving the net and handing Florida the puck. Obviously it's a mental health issue, not physical, because he's lost his mind pretending he doesn't need to answer questions truthfully. What a loser!

  6. Shoulda' played Swayman more.
I knew there was something wrong with Ullmark.
If you ain't 100%, why the f*** do you play?

  7. Injured or not Bruins were in good shape going into game 5 OT. A goal there and the headline is Bruins romp over Florida. Unfortunately Ullmark had a brain cramp and passed the puck the wrong way. Game 6 did they give him a chance for redemption and when that failed it was Swayman time, followed by tee times.

  8. Lol equipments made him looked huge but he’s not without it 😅

  9. I'd go so far as to say his "injury" is what cost us the series. Sure, the Panthers were the better team in a couple games. Especially at the end of game 7. However, I will still say we should've closed out the series in game 5/6. Easily. We couldn't get one clutch stop though. Especially in game 6. I honestly mostly blame the coaching staff. How could you not tell something was up with Ullmark? Didn't he let up 10 goals in 2 games or sum? He just looked different out there. They should've taken him out and evaluated him way before game 7. Why they kept him playing for so long is beyond me.

  10. Swayman numbers were almost as good. Why not put him in at 100 percent rather thrn a 75 percent ulmark.

  11. Monty has no excuse for playing him if he wasn't 100 percent. Too bad it had to be decided by such a poor decision.

  12. I dont want to hear this fool. You play you perform. You were the ultimate choke artist. You will never be trusted again!

  13. A hockey player will never step aside because he is injured. If they did the game would be more like soccer. It's up to the coaching staff to determine which players give the team the best chance to win.

  14. We could all see it – it was obvious he was carrying something
Can’t blame him for wanting to soldier on this has to go on Monty and goalie bob. Same happened with bergy, arguably the best games were without him with coyle and hall given way more responsibility.

He changed it for the sake of it and put injured guys on the ice….far cry from the consistency of the regular season.

  15. I knew this was coming excuses he did the same his first season if this is true then this is on montgomery he choked terrible coaching job.

  16. Hey ulmark, when u win vezina, I'm having garage sale in July. Can u donate it. It's worth about 5$after your gaf in game 5

  17. Lol. Amazing how easily you're "injured" when you are playing like trash.
