  1. You know what’s worse for a long term relationship than going to arbitration?

THROWING RYAN DONATO INTO THE FROTHING SEA OF FREE AGENCY!

    Do the right thing, Ron.

  2. I have never understood the emphasis on the captancy in NHL. Some teams go without and its fine. Beniers needs a couple of seasons of producing before more unecessary and made up pressure

  3. Il really like liscen to you talking about your team great job. I am a french canadien and not si good to write un english mais merci beaucoup c'est vraiment le fun de savoir ce qui se passe a Seattle. J'espère que Shane Wright va être excellent comme notre slovaque

  4. Great show fellas. HUGE win having Jen on board. Her pictures really add depth and nuanced detail to your commentary. I'm so excited for the Kraken. I believe I will need a Ty Nelson Firebirds jersey. That kid is sooooo much fun to watch and listen to.

  5. Nice episode and thanks for keeping us in the loop.

I agree that we should play Wright on the 3rd line and ease him into the league as much as possible.
It would also be nice if at least two of those other picks became solid NHL players for us in the future.

BTW: I've noticed you guys talking about the cap going up and mentioning next year.
I don't think that's the case and the rumor about that is most likely from SDPN's show Agent Provocateur with Agent Allan Walsh.

In that episode Walsh clearly stated that the cap will go up but that will be in about three years(2025) and not earlier given that the players still have to pay back a lot of money to the owners.

So it's most likely going to be the same(cap going up by about $1 million) for the next two years and then it's supposedly going to go up by at least $10 million, IMO.

  6. A lot of talk about Colorado looking to move someone to resign Kadri and the primary band being Girard. Not sure what the cost would be but that'd be way better than Klingberg. Even though he's another lefty.

  7. Great show! Do you think that the Kraken has locked up Beniers-Wright as their Top 6 – centers for the future? As a thought experiment, do you think that the Kraken would pass by Bedard if they somehow won the draft lottery in 2023? Or do you think that they would pass by both Fantilli and Dvorsky if they got a Top 5 pick to the 2023 draft? Even Leo Carlsson is probably going to be a future Top 6 – center in NHL, but I´m quite sure that the Kraken wouldn´t draft him.
