Devils Double Up Canes In Bounceback Win | New Jersey Devils

The Devils came to The Prudencial Center down 2-0 in the 2nd round series against the Carolina Hurricanes. Much like in Round 1 against the Rangers the Devils were able to find another gear in the 3rd game to reduce the series lead by 1 in dominant fashion. Vitek Vanecek started for the first time in the 2nd round and made 26 saves in the win. Luke Hughes made his NHL Stanley Cup Playoff debut and registered 2 points on the night.
