When fighting an opponent that has a reach advantage get inside of his wingspan. I know it sounds crazy but it accomplishes two things: It prevents your opponent from getting full arm extension and it gets you close enough to land punches. If nothing else you can put him in a bear hug until the refs (hopefully) break it up. Standing at arm's length and trading with a guy who has a significant reach advantage is suicide.
