  1. There is know urgency in there game this teams needs a complete over haul 7 years together cannot get it done time for major changes this summer

  2. The one spot i disagree, is Willy.

Willy creates space with his skating and takeaways. Its just always been when he feels like it.

  3. The Blackhawks had one super-killed guy like that (#88)

Andrew Shaw – Brandon Saad – Marian Hossa – Dave Bolland – Brian Bickell – Patrick Sharp – Jonathan Towes – were just a few could make space and stuff the puck in the net

  4. Lilgegren and Brodie have been their best defenders except for Brodie's occasional mistakes. Simmonds Gustafsson Liljegren Rielly Jake McCabe Luke Schenn and Conor Timmins would be the players I would have in for the last game.

  5. Leafs need to go watch the TV show Shoresy on repeat until it sinks in for them. Being a top 10 player in the league skill wise doesn't mean anything in the play offs if you can't put your heart on your sleeve and throw your body around. It comes down to Matthews, Marner, Nylander, Tavares they all love to win, but none of them hate to lose. Shoresy will show them the way, they have to hate to lose 100x more than they love to win.

  6. absolutely . I watched their show today. physical play and forecheck is killing the leafs. too bad just a few leafs play physical the rest are too timid. florida has this series locked

  7. I’m not worried. I know this team has what it takes to comeback.
    Hahahahahahahaha………hahahahahahah……….hahahahahahahaha……..😂

  8. The constant line juggling from start to finish set the leafs up for failure.
Unless down by a couple goals with 10 mins or so in the game left, no other teams do that period

  9. What's amazing is very few, if any, Maple Leafs fans are giving Florida any credit. The Panthers are aggressive on the forecheck, creating turnovers, then working well as a team with pretty damn impressive puck movement (latest example the game winning goal last night) to bury the chances that they get. Sure, Bob's playing out of his mind, but he's also been getting paid $10M a year for years to do that — so it's nice that he's finally justifying his cap hit.

I'm a Panthers fan. Also a long suffering Leafs one. From the morons chanting "we want Florida" instead of respecting a team that won 3 in a row to knock off the team with the greatest regular season in history to this ongoing nonsense that it's all aboot the Leafs not doing whatever and nothing to do with Florida finding their game at the right time is just a really bad look. Show some respect.

Geez, remember when the Tkachuk deal was announced? The reaction in Calgary and elsewhere was overwhelmingly "those idiots down there sure got fleeced." Well, look who rose to the top when needed most while the Flames didn't even make the playoffs. And don't give me this nonsense that Florida barely squeaked in because Pittsburgh collapsed. They won games down the stretch, including getting 3 out of a possible 4 points against the Leafs — after a regular season where they were learning a new system under a new head coach, had numerous goaltending issues — including a kid who had to leave the team with substance abuse issues, and dealt with stretches with various anchors in their roster missing games due to injury.

  10. I would say what is more glaring is the foot speed. Florida is skating circles and entering the zone with ease. Lafferty does't even seem fast compared with a bunch of panther players

  11. So glad we got a minute muncher, elite defender and rugged dman in Ekholm. Leafs should have been all over this guy but they thought McCabe and O’reilly who gave the cats a beauty pizza in the most important part of the game😂😂😂😂😂

  12. Kyper is a moron. Every player in the league plays different in the playoffs. To say you can't ask the same of the leafs is ridiculous. If Tampa and florida were playing the same now as in the regular season, Tavares, Marner and Nylander wouldn't be playing so cowardly now.

If you're getting paid 8-12 million dollars a year you have a duty to grow some damn balls come playoff time. Do you think crosby played this cowardly in his cup runs? Is any one of them so much better than Crosby that they can afford to? HELL NO.

Stop trying to get a bud light sponsorship and man up. Any individual player on my peewee team had more guts than the leafs entire core.

  13. Most of this comes down to coaching. Keefe is god awful.

Kypreos saying Matthews doesn’t know how to hit is laughable. He led the first round in hits last year, had massive hits delivered before and is always near the top in takeaways.

These two are clueless about hockey.

  14. Yeah they allow Panthers to OWN the neutral zone, enter uncontested and build their attack from there, dangle, score a game winner…uncontested in the neutral zone…I’m happy for my Cats

  15. This is not a playoff team, a couple trades are not gonna make you a tougher team ,they have never bin tough to play against! The main four are all about looking good that's it!

  16. The GTA and media praise 34…. I'm so glad he's not on my team. The rest of the league sees him for what he is … zero leadership, too expensive and too soft for the NHL.

  17. Get real if Nathanackinning was a leaf and has the failures that he had with Colorado he would have been traded before he could win a cup
You just got to be patient they will win

  18. Seems to me like everyone on the leafs roster just expects someone else to do all the hard work, that's all there is to it. They're all talented players that expect to get carried by the other talented players. None of them give 100% because none of them have ever had to give 100%. No one's willing to step up to do the hard work because they're all a bunch of softies who are afraid to get hurt.
