Should the Jets make a offer for Jesse Puljujarvi? He a big right winger who shoots right! A 3rd round pick or prospect seems to be the offer. Jets could even offer one of our Left side D. Seems like a win win for both teams.

I really liked PLD’s interview because he’s charming and came across genuine. I’ve quickly forgiven him & ready to cheer him on!

What if… Brisson is just that smart and he is doing exactly what is best for his client by giving PLD a taste of the Habs fanbase/media shit storms? What if, it was some sort of warning or lesson to PLD about what happens when your name is linked to the Habs? Brisson wouldn't have said anything if PLD never told him about wanting to be a Habs as it was his childhood dream and such and is understandable. I live in QC and there's only a small % of people that would will be willing to trade for PLD for a price Chevy would accept. The majority is 50/50 between getting PLD asap by robbing Chevy or getting him for free as UFA, but the other half already have their torches and pitchforks out saying he is an underrated spoiled brat. Most seem to agree that they would only take him if they are getting rid of players they don't like… In short, what if Brisson's comment was meant to give his client the slap about what it means to be a Habs player.
If it’s getting blown out of proportion PLD, you should have set your agent and media straight which you didn’t. Laine just signed for 4 years and we are stuck with an evasive player. Looks like Chevy lost that trade. If the players who caused Laine to leave are still on this team, it feels like poor asset management by the team, which has made a bad situation worse. Heads should roll and it should be from the top down.

Hi there, about all your comments, you seem to be forgetting pressure from family members, think about it, girlfriend,wive,possibly family and schooling in mother tongue etc why would he not thinks about playing in Montreal !
I hope he gets booed every game he's in winnipeg. He really slapped his teammates and franchise in the face for this one. I'd be more then fine if he played 4 mins a night on the 4th for the season. Give the ice time to someone who wants to play for the jets.
PLD's zoom call has made me reconsider the whole situation. I dont blame him for taking a wait and see, especially how the Jets team nose-dived over these past few years. Clock is ticking for the Jets to improve the culture and build a real Cup contender to make it attractive for PLD to commit long term. Otherwise, good for PLD to go live and work where he wants as he will have earned that right in another 2 years.
A one year deal for Dubois? What an absolute fail by Chevy. Now, if he wants to trade him at the deadline, he’ll get half the return. Chevy is putting all of his eggs in the ‘Trotz is our head coach next year’ basket. And counting on that being enough to keep players around. If Dubois would sign a long term extension a year from now, he also would do it two years from now. I honestly have no idea what Chevy was doing with this. My mind is literally boggled.

I was born & raised just south of you guys in Minnesota. I started catching CFL highlights just over 10 years ago. I adopted the Bombers mainly due to proximity & our common history with Bud Grant. I was happy for Winnipeg when you got your hockey team back.
