I think the Panthers are winning it all. They just consistently seem like they want it most. There only roadblock for them may be the canes. In the West I have no idea. Maybe the kraken or vegas will be a challenge for them if they keep it up.

bad coaching system and lack of any adjustments by Keefe is key here but the top 4 players also need to step it up in crunch time and Marner is a disaster right now. As good as he was in round one he is just as bad in round 2. This is what it is when people talk about Marner disappearing in the playoffs. So many brutal give aways though, Marner, O'Reilly, Tim L, so many more to name. They may as well have lost the first round because they never showed up for round 2 and have no wins in round 2 so why bother winning the first round as this is the exact same as losing in the first round if you don't show up for the second round. I would not rehire Keefe or Dubas. You can not change all the players therefore management needs to change. Dubas only did his job right for one year out of a 5 year contract. Before this year he was always signing small skilled players from only Ontario so he wasted 5 years with this core group. He has also had to trade away many first round picks to cover up his bad signings like Petre Mrazek and Nick Foligno. Keefe can not motivate this group at all. In the regular season they always lose to lower ranked teams and that is all on the coach for not getting his players up to play at the drop of the puck. Same as the playoffs Keefe is always out coached by the other team's coach. Keefe is really a minor league coach but because of the talent on the Leafs they will always have a good regular season record no matter how bad Keefe really is. The team right now shows no heart or willingness to take one for the team so to speak. This team so desperately needs a Wendl Clark or a Doug Gilmour.
What is worse is losing to a former Leafs coach Paul Maurice. It will take a long time to live that down.
This is really Sad! and this is after Annihilating and Embarrassing Tampa Bay 4 Games at their Home Ice Rink! They took down 1 Florida Team but they cannot take down another? Something doesn't add up here….. I'm glad they got Rid of Tampa Bay after the 1st Round because I was never a Fan of their Team and after seeing them win the Stanley Cup to my own Displeasure since 2020 I was Glad to see them Break to the Core when the Leafs Disqualified them after 6 Games….. still a bit of Anger but also Sorrow too!

I knew this was going to happen.
The way they and toronto acted when we won the 1st round was too over the top.
It’s not the coach lol. They choke every single year. Forever. They have amazing talent on paper but in my bracket I picked them to beat TB and then lose.
To Boston but who cares. Florida might win the fucking cup. But if I was a GM I dunno what I would do. They are basically the Washington Capitals with Ovie who never reached a final till they finally won it. Or even worse. Vancouver who blew a series lead to lose in game 7 on a shutout at home and the rioted.
Either way, Toronto won 1 round…. Congrats ??
Let me explain it simply as I see it. From a psychology standpoint I would say they felt like they "did something" by beating a team in the playoffs. But they didn't achieve anything so it handicapped them thinking they had some kind of achievement under their belt. The fans of the Leafs have a new story to tell. But for the players there should be only one goal – The CUP. They thought they did something. They didn't.
Not 1 leaf player wants to be that player, caught out of position and demonized in the media for the next 10 years and solely blamed for their 2nd round exit.
As I always say, most consistent team in the league, consistently disappointing but consistent non the less.

with all the hype about winning a 1st round, winning the 1st round was like winning the Stanley Cup. They fell asleep after that. Matthews, Marner, Nylander, Tavares became ghosts. Rumor Samsonov having a mental breakdown? Have they all had a mental breakdown under the pressure? Do they have a kind of PTSD disabling them? There's no sense of urgency. They seem intimidated by the Panthers, no fight, no grit. They sometimes look to be killing off a penalty when it's 5 on 5. They'll have to pull off a 1942 Maple Leafs feat (they beat Detroit 4 in a row after losing the 1st 3) to move on. Solving the Panther forecheck is a must. Best way to do that is have a better one. When the going gets tough, the tough get going
They are done. Sure the games have been even score wise against Florida. But down 0-3, ain't no way they are turning this around. I was very impressed when Florida came back from being down 1-3 against Boston. But Toronto ain't gonna win 4 straight.
Florida will go through. The question is can they beat Carolina because Carolina will probably be the team they will face in the Conference final.
It's the Leafs, what do you expect? They haven't been good in 56 years. Canada teams haven't won the cup in 30. You may as well put your money into an American team.

Leafs getting swept if Keefe didn't adjust in G3 why would he in G4. Keefe will be fired and Matthews will ask to be traded cause they will be in rebuild mode good luck trying to trade Tavares he makes too much to be performing this poorly during the season and playoffs. Of the 4 I believe Marner is the only one staying… I really wanted Leafs vs Knights match-up. I believe Matthews will go to LA or LV so his family can go watch him in person. I know ppl would say he likes playing in Toronto but in one of his videos from the NHL, he stated family was more important than money and wants to win the Cup.

Including getting rid of the entire administration. Ask yourselves on how much money is pocketed and how many more yrs. WASTED??? I've witnessed the Leafs winning the 1967 STANLEY CUP.
