Huge game here at the Rock tonight. Gotta come out the same way we started game 3. Fast controlling of the play and for fuck sake no power plays please
I think we keep the 11 and 7. Seigs looks like hes playing through injury/fatigue since the last few games of the regular season but we also cant afford to scratch him for a game. Limit the defensive ice minutes, offense is buzzing, RAISE HELL.
I want to be excited but can help but be frustrated with the news that Vitek is likely getting the start tonight. I love him but what has he shown this postseason to earn that spot over Schmid? Schmid had two shutouts and two games allowing one goal. Vitek has allowed 4+ in all of his starts, what am I missing?
I have a zoom meeting with part of my work team in Japan that probably happens in the middle of the 2nd period tonight. I’ll discreetly be keeping the game on my second screen during this because I’m such a dedicated worker AND fan.
I’m so leery of Vitek. I know he got us here but if we didn’t go gangbusters scoring last game, there’s a chance we’re down 3-0 heading into tonight. He did not look good in Game 3 and I’d almost want to take my chances with Schmid.
I’m nervous for tonight. Not because of Vitek or our boys just after last game you know Rod is going to do what he can to fire up the Canes. I’m nervous they are going to come down with an aggressive checking game. We need to weather that storm, no pun intended, and stick to our game. That being said, LETS FUCKING GO DEVILS!!!!
