reminder that [this was a situation](https://twitter.com/vzmercogliano/status/1589426124035358721) that occurred this season. he could still get canned but if NYR goes with Knob for the position, i can’t imagine he will, as Murphy was an assistant in HFD with Knob

Are there any good reports on what exactly Drury and Gallant were not agreeing upon? May give us an insight on who they are looking to replace him with.
I read once that it was possibly the handling of the kids, but I am not sure how Gallant could have possibly been better on that.

Allaire is the best goaltending coach in the world and thankfully will be in the role until he decides he no longer wants to be

Murphy needs to go. Igor was our defense and while the team played decently in the games we won against NJ, the D was absent most of the season.
As a non-following fan, but a playoff ranger fan is this good ?
I think we should retire Benoit Allaire’s “number” or give him one so we can retire it. The man has been a saint performing miracles with this team.
