    Fuckin’ way she goes, boys.

    See you all on Thursday.

  2. alienbanter

I’m glad we can count on this team to never give up. Just needed to get the fight back a little sooner tonight. See y’all on Thursday!

  3. Left4Bread2

Just kinda started ugly. Poor passing and shooting, sluggish both offensively and defensively. Not going to win a ton of playoff games like that.

At least we came into the third period with some fight. Wish it was like that the whole game, but it is what it is.

Let’s not talk about that one again, on to game five.

  4. Olbaidon

Don’t let the scoreboard fool you, this wasn’t an ass whooping at the hands of Dallas, this was a self flagellation.

This team man handled Dallas 7-2 a couple nights ago, and tonight we realistically “only” lost 3-5, 3-4 if you wanna argue the interference.

Edit: 3-3 if you also want to tack on the following PP goal.

Our boys put 3 goals past Otter in 18 shots, hell I think realistically it was 3 goals in 8 shots. That’s absolutely insane, and shows that our skaters didn’t show up to play for the first 2 periods, but that regrouping and putting pucks on net can win us the series.

Rally, come back ready to shoot the puck and we can absolutely take the momentum back.

  5. TheEvergreenMonster

Plenty of hockey left to win in this series! Still love and believe in our guys!

  6. At least ESPN finally said some nice stuff about us at the end!

  7. One-Switch-1448

love the fight at the in, on to game 5, KRAKEN IN 6!

  8. juanthebaker

    I like winning better.

    Back to it on Thursday!

  9. LuckyDubbin

Only u/mistermyanushurts is allowed to make the “wake the fuck up” threads from now until next season.

  10. winterfoxes

That bullshit no goalie interference call back in the 2nd 100% turned the tide of this game against us. If that had gone our way, it would’ve been 4-3, Hak never pulls Jones, we ride the hype wave from goal 3 straight into goal 4, and we *might’ve* tied it up to send it to OT. That no-call changed everything

  11. All the doomers stfu. They’ll make the necessary adjustments in game 5. And we get another home game!

  12. surfingeagles

Bad game, but hey, at least it wasn’t 7-2!!! It’s time to prove that road warrior status on Thursday!!

  13. Ttvbenskionig

Jones with the tuff two save shutout 👑

  14. Pete_Iredale

I’m proud of the effort until the end. We still got this!

  15. junction1134

Didn’t show up for the first two, but got their legs back in the third. Even with the loss, this shows the kraken still have a lot of fight in em. Great series.

  16. BlackSnowMarine

Winning Games 1, 3, 5, and 7 is always gonna be a recipe for success. Let’s do it.

Lot of fight in that 3rd period that makes the loss sting less, and it goes a very long way in a best-of-seven.

  17. steppewarhawk

I hate Jamie Benn, love me Grubauer, simple as.

  18. Could tell from the opening gun they didn’t have it. Slow play. Inept offense. Zero pressure anywhere on the ice. Grubauer randomly wildly out of position. Complete team loss, can’t blame one guy.

  19. SiccSemperTyrannis

Kraken played ok for most of this game and the L wasn’t on Grubauer.

My biggest issue is the lack of urgency to score when they were down in the 2nd period, especially on the multiple 4-on-4 segments. At times it looked like they were playing with a multi goal lead rather being down multiple goals. really frustrating.

Still, we were 2-2 after 4 against Colorado as well. Win the road game and we’re right back in the lead.

  20. Go_Hawks12

Can’t play flat for 40 minutes and expect to win

  21. mashdots

Two positive notes – 1) we’ve made it far in the playoffs, and that’s good. 2) At least our series isn’t nearly as lop-sided as the eastern series. Gives me hope, you know?

  22. WildDornberry

My first time attending a professional playoff game in any sport! Had a great time despite the loss and I am glad to say the crowd never seemed to give up on the team despite being down 5-1. We got especially loud when it was 5-3 there near the end.

In my opinion we didn’t play as bad as the score made it look. (But we didn’t play great either). We’ll get ‘em on the road in game 5. More our style that way anyway! 🦑

  23. No shame. Boys fought to stay in it, and if it wasn’t for the stupid crap goalie interference, it would’ve been a lot closer, maybe even within reach. Proud of how they kept playing and didn’t roll over. Series is tied, so now back to Dallas, where we KNOW we can win.

  24. Solid 1st, abysmal 2nd, and great showing in the 3rd to make them sweat. Ended the game on a high(er) note and have tape of very fixable problems to take on the road where we tend to play better.

    I’m optimistic.

  25. l2ooster

I leave the viewing with no negative feelings and a sense of pride for those guys. They played well and got beat by a team that had its back up against the wall

  26. Mrdean2013

Well at least the Mariners were able to beat a Texas team today.

    …yay?
