  1. Please enough with the “be careful what you wish for” narrative. We know exactly what we have in Rask, and it Is not what we need to win the Stanley Cup. He is too inconsistent and for whatever reason his poor play and lack of commitment has been a constant issue. He is hurt, he is inconsistent, he is not an elite goaltender. Give the keys to Swayman, it is time to move on.

  2. Trade rask while he’s worth something. Man has been our goalie for 9 years now with no cup. Game 6 Chicago. Game 7 st. Louis. Go back and watch those games

  3. If management still believes they can win a cup with this core then you NEED Rask back. IMO if you can sign Rask and Krejci to cheap 1 or 2 year contracts maybe between 3-4.5 mil and sign Hall for somewhere between 5-6.5 mil then they should be in good shape to sign others like Reilly + Carlo and have leftover cap to add some difference makers in free agency especially if you trade DeBrusk. Bottom 6 needs big changes, I think Kuhlman deserves to be a regular at 3RW or 4RW he seems to have that dog like mentality and hunger that Kuraly/Wagner had in 2019 but are now lacking. I’d like to see Lazar with some consistent linemates, it seemed like that bottom 6 was changing every single game in the regular season.

If management doesn’t believe this core can still win a cup then I’d like to see them go into a rebuild/retool. The last thing I want is for them to bring everyone back but change basically nothing. It just delays the inevitable. Yeah it’s a great team but it’s clearly not good enough to win a cup + they’ll all be another year older. It’s too passive of an approach.

  4. Guys I’m sorry I have had blind hatred for Rask for years!! When he plays good I would always admit it. I think he’s a team killer personally. That’s my opinion.
1- Doesn’t have high level compete.
2- I see him as the guy to blame his D on goals warranted or not.
3- Stays to far in his net and can’t get to the shooters fast enough. Instead of up and out he’s in and low.

Your better of having DeBrusk in net

  5. Marchand Bergy Pasta
    Hall Krejci Smith
    Ritchie Coyle (Stud / Kuhlman)
    Frederic Lazar Wagner

  6. Backend and bottom 6 need a lot more Nasty. IMO Keep Tinordi in Boston all summer to work on his foot speed maybe you can slot him in your 3rd pair. But Size & Nastiness is a huge missing-piece right now. I’d see what you can get for Gryz my god the turnovers he gives up Add someone to the Coyle Ritchie line. Keep Lazar for 4th line center and see what another year does for Freddy bring in another Heavy to play there. Obviously gotta keep Krejc and sign Hall. 5m Krejc 6m Hall. D may still not be good enough as is. Cap a problem. See if you can afford Martinez to play with Chucky. Oh ya. TEACH Carlo how to stay away from Hits along the boards. There are methods of turning away from hit angles

  7. 1. Figure out how to draft properly…draft choices have been horrific…Jake Debrusk is the only player active on the team from the 2015 draft and he has been a ghost this year.

    2. Develop front line depth that can move up. The bottom 2 lines have been a cob job for years and the 2nd line stunk until they acquired Hall. They have to figure out how to augment the lower lines beyond AHL players. The Islanders have 4 decent lines and that was a problem for the Bruins.

    3. They need a couple of solid additional defensemen. With the injuries, they rolled out AHL players and that was a disaster.

    4. Focus on goaltending youth. Tuukka has been undependable in the playoffs the past two years, he will be out for at least 1/2 the season, and he will be 35 years old. The team can use the money elsewhere. He did not earn his $14M over the past two years.

As they say, only a fool does the same thing over and over expecting different results.

  8. Go with the kids in net and wait it out with Rask. That should be enough to put them in a playoff position. Keep Krejci if you can a d get him a better winger than Smith.

  9. The second line was garbage all year unless they played devils/sabres. was not rolling.

  10. Rasks move on.injury prone.go with new blood goalies.resign hall.krejki hope he resigns a maybe.we need help on d & 3 & 4th line scoring.trade debrusk .gretzlaf.ritchie.bruins need big d man to suceed.look at the final 4 now.great d men to win a cup.bruins need to make some changes.to be competive for another run for the cup.go bruins.
