It’s hard to believe this because historically with this group they have, in fact, gone down pretty easy. I’m going to the movies tonight instead of watching the game. Good luck to you all

There was an article on The Athletic where they spoke about the last two teams to pull off the reverse sweep (Flyers and Kings).
From interviews, both teams seemed to have the mentality that it was their opposition that was under pressure. Their opponent is the one who has to get that final win to put them down.
I’m definitely reading too much into it, but this group doesn’t seem to have a similar mentality when they’re against the wall. They seem to downplay the pressure rather than deflect it somewhere else.
As soon as the going gets tough this squad packs it in. Panthers are tucking them in to bed and they like it

I love how they have this media mentality when their backs are against the wall yet when we get to the second round at home, we show zero urgency, response, or physicality. Die hard here but this roster isn’t built for playoff hockey, and with the money they are all making, you cannot change that.
I dunno a team sleepwalking to the second round only to face a possible sweep seems the opposite of *fighting*, but I’m happy to be proven wrong by you guys Mo, *for once*.
